Good continental breakfast very helpful staff even brought a bowl of water for the dog

Nice location

No food, dirty rooms, things left behind by previous guests and missing things from the rooms.

Das unterbesetzte Personal war freundlich, auch als wir uns über den Geruch und Schimmel beschwert hatten, wurden am nächsten Tag Zimmer getauscht.

Das Hotel ist schon sehr abgewohnt. Die Badezimmer sollten renoviert werden. Das erste Badezimmer war schimmelig. Im zweiten Badezimmer fing es auch schon an. Die Decke war komplett kaputt über der Badewanne. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Haare im Bad, und ein riesen Haarbüschel im Abfluss. Das wurde auf erneute Beschwerde entfernt. Alle Oberflächen staubig. Frühstück war sehr basic. Toast, Käse, Wurst, Yoghurt, Marmelade. Kein Ei oder bisschen Gurke, Tomate. Vieles war leer,wurde erst auf Nachfrage aufgefüllt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist eigentlich eine Frechheit. Es wird mit 4 Sternen geworben, sind vielleicht tatsächlich eigentlich nur 2. Schade, es könnte wirklich schön sein.

Lovely picturesque venue for a visit, holiday, or wedding. I was staying for business and had a comfortable sleep in a cosy wee room. The buffet breakfast was good quality, but some boiled eggs would have been a good addition to put on my toast. It was really handy for me as I was working at Rhu marina, there was also plenty of parking for my car.

Location was good. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly

We were expecting a cooked breakfast and were unaware that they had stopped serving it a few months ago. Breakfast was all help yourself and there was no fresh tea or coffee

Unfortunately they were not doing evening meals and all payments were car only it should be card or cash unfortunately we will not be going back if it remains card only sorry has it’s a wonderful hotel.

Hotel was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Limited food offering but continental breakfast was nice. Could add some more fresh fruit to enhance. Best thing was a member of staff, John. He is exceptional. Every thing he did for us was outstanding. He seems to do everything at times. I hope owners appreciate how fortunate they are to have him. Nice location and gardens. Helped by beautiful sunny day. Rooms need upgraded but exceptional value for our stay.

Just needs rooms upgraded and a bit of tlc generally. A bit of money spent would raise it to another level. Hope they can do that.

I would say the hotel was a bit tired and need refurbishing but was adequate
