The resort fee on top of the hotel fee should be optional and stated more clearly that way.

Location, view, beds are very comfortable. Restaurants are fine, lovely staff and servers.

Room needed things fixed and cleaned

My husband and I stayed there last week for two nights. We booked a king room with a partial bay view and balcony. They didn't have that room available due to a problem with the air conditioner and upgraded us to a suite. The room itself was clean and spacious. It overlooked the pool and was very noisy at times. The pool is open until 11pm which seems way too late for my liking. We could hear people yelling from the pool area throughout the day and there wasn't much quiet in our room until late at night. The number one thing I look for in a hotel is quiet and I had requested a quiet room when we booked. Ask for a room far away from the pool if you are looking for a peaceful retreat.
