Chetola Resort

Beautiful place. Very quiet and comfortable. Not a fan of the resort fee as I wasn’t there long enough to even use the amenities. I was there for a wedding and the staff seemed frazzled.

Last weekend was my first time at the resort. I found the grounds absolutely gorgeous, a very peaceful setting. The location is perfect, close to dining and shopping.

The fact they kept increasing price for this specific weekend’s stay. Had requested early check in especially due to long drive getting there and event we needed to attend. They never contacted me or made an attempt to get me in my room early. I emailed, called & showed up early. No cold water pressure in bathroom. Pool area was dirty.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was updated and comfortable. We stayed in the hotel section, not a condo. We had dinner at the restaurant, enjoyed trout and a wedge salad and it was very delicious.

I went away with an "It was OK" experience. Hotel, though nice, was very dated. The restaurant was ok but very loud. The staff were vwry pleasant and helpful. For the price would I.do.it again? Probably not. To be fair they had a number.of activities associated with the hotel we didnt use becauae of our short stay. Perhaps a longer stay and utilizing some of the things they offer would justify the cost.

Not what I expected. It was OK but to be honest we only stayed one day. They have a huge array of things available to take advantage of. As far as the hotel, for the price it was OK. Restaurant on premises was Ok but not WOW. The staff were all very helpful and probably the best part of the experience. Rooms were clean but dated. Restaurant was very noisy with children but to be fair it is a family place so dont expect a quite fine dinning experience. All in all not horrible but for the money I expected a bit more.
