Best Western Appleby Park Hotel

The staff are very welcoming and everything was just perfect as it should be. Breakfast is probably their focus as they seem to have this just perfect. Plenty of choice and good service. Cannot fault this hotel or the staff. I have been all over that this location is my preferred stop for the midlands.

Ideal hotel for our needs and travel plans, clean, nice size room ( 3 bed family room), friendly staff and nice surroundings

Very clean and great staff, pillows are hard and breakfast is cold but other than that a great place to stay

This is a first class hotel at a very reasonable price , all the staff were very helpful & welcoming . Meals were good value . This hotel should be getting a 5 and certainly deserves it. Car parking good, and access north & south on M42 very good, Lots of attractions around the area

I needed somewhere easy and convenient to stay when travelling from Sheffield tor Tamworth the next morning. Hotel location is great. I received a warm and friendly welcome arriving late evening. Plenty of space to park. Bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again

We booked this hotel as a halfway point to break up a longer journey as travelling with a dog and a baby! Staff were so accommodating of the dairy allergy we also had to manage, nothing was too much bother for the staff and they were all so enthusiastic. Courtney in particular really helped with a lot of faffy questions and requests! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay!

Everything to me perfect . Excellent value for money. Staff brilliant, stayed as stop over there and back on main holiday left refreshed ready for the journey. Puts bigger hotels to shame. To be honest for what you get price to cheap, would of payed more.

Conveniently right off junction 11 of the M42. Bed comfortable. Good breakfast. Lack of plug points, no plug point for the hairdryer to be used by the mirror.

Overall I really liked this hotel. Clean, comfortable and lovely staff. Very good price and dog friendly. Food was served until a good time and reasonably priced. My main issue comes from lack of sensible plug points in the bedrooms. None around the beds in the room we had. No big deal of there are useable points elsewhere but they were above the table which was not moveable in order to create enough space for a plug which feeds downwards as do most phone chargers and plugs in general. There is 1 usb port but it seemed slow. It was a bit of a hassle trying to work off lap top and also charge a mobile phone at the same time, unable to sit comfortably on the bed to do so. Also an extra bedside table for the twin room wouldnt go amis. Otherwise a really pleasant stay.
