Habita, Mexico City, a Member of Design Hotels

Don't even bother booking this place. Extremely disappointed. We have stayed at other Grupo Habita hotels before but definitely won't be staying with them again. The hotel is barely a 3-star. It's completely run-down. Very poor soundproofing, you can hear a lot of noise from both outside and inside the hotel. You hear lots of noise from neighbouring rooms and from the corridor. The decor and facilities are chipped, worn, dated. It took about 5 phone exchanges with the reception to book spa treatments. It is not a spa hotel. The rooftop bar was closed. There are pay by the hour places in Mexico that are classier than this place. I just wish I had read some of the other reviews first. We have been cheated out of a romantic break in Polanco.

Habita is in a great location. Room was comfortable with a great bed, a nice patio and a fantastic bathroom and shower. The decor is minimalist . The best surprise of all was the excellent breakfast buffet. We thought this hotel was great value and made for the best night's sleep we had during our visit to Mexico City.

Employees lack of customer service orientation, are rude and lazy, no interest to help. Bed is very uncomfortable, to small and the sheets doesn’t fit. It’s a shame due the nice location at the heart of Polanco.

The hotel is great. the staff and facilities are very nice. Quite area close to shopping.

It was all in all a good stay. My room had a leak in the ceiling which made it a bit uncomfortable, but it stopped leaking after I notified the front desk about it.

Amazing stay, beautiful and comfortable hotel. The staff is incredible, beyond helpful. The food is also great and the staff really goes out of their way to accommodate. So happy to have stayed here.

The hotel definitely needs a refresh. The door in my room didn't shut properly and left a bit of gap that let light in during the night. I could smell the cigarette odor from the adjacent room. A lot of noise coming from the street and small details like burnt light bulbs and an old TV set in the room.

This hotel definitely had its day but is a little tired now. Bed is Japanese style and small, rooms perfectly fine but whole place needs a good lick of paint . Good value, amazing location and friendly staff .

WiFi service in the room it was bad; very low speed

Its a nice hotel bit I was dissapointed they dont have any free water. They charge for fancy water bottles only. Also we had a super bad smell coming from the bathroom sewer which stank the whole room and made the experience unpleasant.
