Hotel Maria del Carmen Merida

The stay was short, one night but totally okay, thinking of what the price was, well very affordable. - Parking was good - Breakfast was basic but good - Outdoor and pool area was calm - Location wise excellent, you could walk around and access different parts of the city. - Ubereats service was able to bring food to hotel in the evenings. - Service was nice, very kind staff. - The beds were comfy and clean. - Really good covid measurements. But the room felt quite old and needs a bit of an update, but the bathroom looked modern/ newer. I wish there were stronger lights in the room but it was not a massive problem. This is a budget stay, very good if you will be out all day on tours and activities.

Place is near downtown. Water pressure and AC were quiet the challenge.

It was close to city parks and a very frie and helpful staff 😁

This hotel is very nice but it needs to upgrade Internet access. Internet access was almost non-existent. Faded in and out every few seconds. Also, found it difficult to get any service in the dining area. Saw others having the same problem. Staff seemed to be occupied elsewhere and food was cold - had just been warmed up, not fresh.

This might only be a 2 star hotel but it is a great place to stay and extremely good value for money. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is in the centre and walking distance to most places. The hotel is clean if a little outdated, Good little swimming pool. Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable, bathroom was good and the hot water very quick. Air con was comfortable but I like it more cold. Breakfast buffet had choice but not easy to keep foo hot, I can highly recommend this as a great budget hotel to stay in Merida

The only unique quality about this property is that location, other than that is very simple and not bery impressed the elevator makes lot of noise all night.
