Nice breakfast free parking right right by the train station

We were transferred to the Hilton hotel close to the airport, i was supposed to have a refrigerator and the air-conditioning was working more like a fan no windows in this room to let fresh air i complained and the manager a lady said to me this is the way it is here. Really so i had to be almost sweating and noghing was done eventhought they had rooms with windows they said i had to pay extra. The ICE MACHINE in the hall was not working at all no ice, so i went to the bar to get some ice and the bartender was very rude and unclean as well.

We were moved to the Hilton which is nearby. The Apart Hotel was closed. The Hilton was a good hotel with a good restaurant. The biggest problem is that it is costly to get back and forth to the Airport from the Hilton. The Hilton Airport shuttle does not run in the afternoon until 5pm. We arrived on the train at 2:30pm and had to take a taxi which costs 18.60 CHF which is $20. In the morning we took the shuttle to the airport for our early flight, this cost us 5 CHF per person (2 of us) so 10 CHF or $11 so it cost us $31 to get back and forth to the airport. A hotel with access to the train or tram might be a better option. Even staying in Zurich might be easier since there is a good train from Zurich HB to Zurich Flughafen.

We didn’t stay here. Our booking got moved to hilton zurich airport next door. They said there was health concern. But this hotel seemed shut down.

Manager on duty was not helpful at all. Just did the bare minimum to check us in. I felt the stigma of checking in with “Expedia” gets you poor service. But why? We’re paying customers as well.
