"All our group loved the hotel and the food . Would stay here again!"

Staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. Staff helped out with any requests. Excellent location for family to stay for a family funeral.

Toilet seat in bathroom, not fixed properly and moved when you sat. Shower screen seal broken so water escaped onto the floor. These are minor points and easily fixed.

"Unhappy"

We'd booked a group of 12 for a christmas gathering. Arrived at 7pm, to be seated at 7.30pm.not many drinks were bought due to the pricing! Once seated in the extremely wobbly, unsafe seats, we came across the recyclable crackers, no bang! To say we were unimpressed by the main is a definate understatement, for the £32 paid, we expected a bit more on our plates! We aren't move on our chairs in case they collapsed, very creaky and wobbly! The entertainment left a lot to be desired, 2 gentlemen over a certain age, didn't fill us with excitement We all left before 10pm, We just don't think we got our monies worth. Very disappointed!

Location was wonderful. We did not have breakfast,

It would have been good to have room service which was offered re: advertisement, However, when requested we were advised that the hotel was too busy with private function...

What a lovely area the hotel is situated. Staff were fab and the rooms were lovely. Would defo go again. Only wish is that they sold new Zealand savignon ☆☆☆

"Wedding at higher trapp"

Higher trapp why can I say !! I had my wedding there and wow from first meet Megan going over the wedding plans and so on to my big day arriving and meeting Hannah my wedding planner was absolutely amazing I felt so calm with them both and the made our day fly by amazing and beautifully I cannot thank them both enough . The night before myself and the girls stayed in the girly room which was brilliant and the boys down at the lodge which they also loved thank you again mostly Hannah you was amazing everyone who attended the wedding has reported how amazing you were
