Treacys Oakwood Hotel

I was hoping to share some photos but there is not an option to do so. We were given a room that has a very very old bathroom. There are cracks with mold on the tiles. The faucet doesn’t work well, the floor is sticky and in general it doesn’t feel clean. It is very old. To get to our room we need to walk for a relative long distance when there wasn’t a cart offered for our luggage. To get to the second floor there were a few flight of stairs before getting to the elevator. In general, for the >$200 USD per might it does not feel like it’s worth it. There are many smaller B&B around and I picked this hotel because the photos are nice. For the quality of the room, I would’ve just try my luck with much cheaper B&B instead. That being said, on our way out, we saw multiple rooms being cleaned and with their doors open. They all look much nicer and modern. So it’s totally possible that the hotel rooms are not all updated and we have different experience from other guests. Well, the inconsistency makes it a lottery for hotel guests I guess. The location is great for an airport hotel.

I have stayed in Treacy'sOakwood Hotel many times & it has always been first class. my stay this time was even better as I was upgraded to a Suite.

I organised a charity concert -in aid of The Laura Lynn Children's Hospice - at Treacy's Oakwood Hotel, Shannon and it was a tremendous success. The function room in the Hotel is an excellent venue with comfortable seating for a large function. Finger food was served to everyone as the exited and it was excellent. The ambience, colour and lighting are fabulous thus creating a beautiful atmosphere. We had a stay over in Shannon heading to Tralee to walk the Dingle Way. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Down side we were unaware of the distance to anything if you are staying more than one night, taxis required.

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant for my aunts eightieth birthday. We had visited Bunratty Castle for day and the hotel was perfect, not too far to travel. Thank you

Very convenient hotel close to the airport. Big rooms, very nice people! We had dinner at the restaurant and the food and service was very good, great atmosphere. If you are traveling in summer, be aware there is no A/C. We were there on a very warm day - they did give us 2 fans which helped cool the room.

My parents and I recently stayed for a night to celebrate their anniversary. The rooms were very bright and spacious, and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. We had dinner in the evening, and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Excellent customer service, the best I have experienced at an airport hotel. An attentive and helpful night porter that was so helpful and friendly. Lovely clean rooms.

Visited Oakwood Hotel for our 41st Wedding Anniversary for 3 nights as its so central to a lot of places in visit and also as we had stayed here before. Firstly I was impressed with the upgrade of the hotel. The have done a lot of work here from when I was here before. The whole hotel has been renovated to a high standard. Staff were very polite and made me feel welcome. Room was immaculate. Food was lovely as usual and breakfast very good. There is no pool at this hotel but we were able to use the one at their sister hotel in Ennis. The only let down was there was no entertainment at all . Otherwise I enjoyed my stay here.
