Treacys Oakwood Hotel

Beautiful hotel, great facilities, lovely food, great entertainment and the most helpful shuttle bus driver ‘Danny’ thanks so much for putting up with us for the duration of our stay.

The shuttle bus driver was an absolute gentleman and the best of craic the journey flew in! Ill look forward to getting it again it has been a pleasure Driver: danny

Nice journey with an easy going polite man. Very easy to talk with on my journey. He has actually volunteered for the hotel to take people from the pool world championships to the Oakwood hotel. Top man is Danny, I would highly recommend anyone to travel with him!

The hotel was comfortable and clean. There is a variety of food at the breakfast buffet. However there were no facecloths provided. Also Danny was a great driver to and from venues.

Hotel was really great and clean also Danny was a great driver and was very kind and talkative to all of my family. Nnnnnnnnn

Danny the driver is the best shuttle man that has ever existed, his prowess behind the wheel is unrivalled and his conversational skills pass the time in the blink of an eye. Danny made the ride smooth and I felt extra safe in his vehicle. His singing voice is spectacular and he conducted an impromptu rendition of “the wheels on the bus” during our late night trip home. 10/10 would recommend and will be making a point of only taking Sir Danny’s shuttle home only. Absolute legend.

What a great hotel, breakfast was great. Food at night time was also great. The staff are so friendly! Always smiling 😃 Shuttle bus back to the hotel was Danny and what a lovely man.

We recently stayed in Treacy Oakwood hotel , from when we checked in the two ladies on reception were friendly and nice, our room was spacious and spotless, we had 3 single beds and a king size . The room had tea/ coffee , iron and hairdryer. The room was clean . The breakfast had a good variety and was lovely, we also had dinner each night in the bar which was nice. Staff are really nice and friendly. We stayed before and we will definitely be back again

It was all perfect, we loved the room, its style, we loved the food (both dinner and breakfast) and the staff was very nice as well. Only one staff member was quite grumpy during breakfast and we only remember because it was in huge contrast with all the rest of the experience :D We will defniitely fo back whenever we are around the area.

This is a very large property. Our room was a half mile from the front desk, and involved a flight of stairs/elevator. Our room also had a wacky system that requires the guest to insert their room card/key into a slot on the wall in the room in order for the electricity to work?! I’ve never seen anything like this before, and I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world… I question the need for this, considering I had already checked in?? I wasn’t told about this by staff and had a hell of a time figuring it out. Anyway…overall the property was clean and close to Shannon Airport - and those were the most important things when choosing a hotel.
