Citykoti Downtown Apartments

We chose a CityKoti downtown apartment for our two day stay in Helsinki for its prime location to the metro station, nearby shopping and eating choices, size, and affordable cost. We were immediately impressed by the staff who graced us with an upgrade to a bigger family room upon arrival. The apartment was completely clean, appliances in working order, and smelled fresh.

Service is really very nice. They are smiley, helpful and very clear about the explanations. Location is also good. But the pictures are not real. Sheets were not washed. Pillows had smell.

No air conditioning made the room awfully hot and the bed was uncomfortable. The window could only be opened a crack if the blind was down. The girls at the checkin counter were nice and friendly. I would not stay here again in the summer

Great location close to the centre of the city but a couple of streets outside the CBD area so wasn't at all noisy. Easy key pick up out of hours (though check in hours are only 3.00-5.00pm so a lot of people must use this) and apartment was a few doors away. Apartment was super clean, modern and comfortable with all the facilities you'd expect. Staff at the office were super friendly and helpful.

Overall a nice stay. The reception is only open from 10-5 so if you come after hours you will need to pick up your keys in a lockbox by reception and then walk around with your luggage to find your apartment as they are not all super close together, although walking distance. We thought we were getting 3 separate beds but had a queen and the pull out couch. WiFi went out one day but they sent maintenance to fix it right away. The only challenge really was that the location wasn't as close to the downtown core where the restaurants, market, harbours and shopping is so got lots of steps in!

I like it. Definitely coming back.

The room and the location were great, the only complaint i have is with the Key system the use. Every time I went to use it I didn't know how long it was going to take for it to work. Seriously, there would be times were it would work on the first try and other times it would like 5 minutes to get it to work, it was a bit annoying but aside from that I enjoyed my stay.

Our 4-night-stay was okay. Self check-in was smooth and easy, we were lucky that the assigned flat was on the same block of the office. Location was good, walking distance to the centre. Mini kitchen was well-equipped, however, dishes and utensils are barely washed. Travelers without their own portable wifi need to be careful cause the wifi didn't work for our entire stay. Television won't work. Washing machine won't work, but front desk sent technician to fix it right next day.

It was nice

We arrived an hour and a half early. They didn't check us in, but allowed to leave our bags in the lobby. The room was clean, but with no sitting area, no armchair or couch. Instead there was a big dining table which we did not need because we ate sitting by the kitchen counter. The toaster was old and didn't switch off automatically. We burned some bread before figured it out. The washer was horrible, the clothes were floating in water after it switched off.
