The Shaw Club Hotel

Back for our second time and the Shaw Club was just as nice as before.

The Shaw Club is well located but it needs a little update. Our room was in the annex and it seems that they need to update the plumbing and A/C (very noisy). The staff was not very helpful. However we had a great time at their restaurant. Food and service were great!

Have stayed here a couple of times now but will have to reconsider going forward. I feel this hotel falls short on some of the basics - no HD tv - loud air conditioner- the window blinds were not working properly and about 1/3 of the window to our room was exposed.

Beautiful, quiet and clean hotel in the perfect location in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Nice hotel but some constructive criticism. We were not told that our room on the 2nd floor had no elevator access. My 72 year old arthritic knees were not happy. There was a note in our room indicating that the water would be shut off at 10am. Check out time is 11am. Couldn't they wait until then ? The jacuzzi in the room has no grab bar. If you slip getting in or out....good luck ! There's nothing to hold on to. Would be nice to have a small coffee table for drinks etc. Fireplace not working. Small bathroom has a large floor shelving unit which impedes access to the shower. Lots of wall space to put up shelving, allowing more floor space. No ice machine in our building. Have to walk over to the main building on second floor.

Was a beautiful little hotel

Excellent place to stay with easy parking behind the building, very friendly staff. Restaurant right on the premises with excellent seating options. I would definitely go back to this place again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful hotel and great location. We had breakfast and it was very reasonably priced and delicious. Every staff member we interacted with were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. We will definitely return.
