Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk

Staff were generally fabulous and always willing to please . Full praise to them...the manager even phoned me after I made my displeasure known... but said there was nothing she could do...(Obviously ALL the rooms are equally poor)

1. The included morning breakfast reminds me of a camp cafeteria. It was so disgusting that my wife refused to go a second time and I just went and brought her a bowl of corn flakes. Noisy kids everywhere 2. Despite receiving an email the day before telling me the room number and advising that I just needed to stop by the desk and everything will be fine, we were still kept waiting 5 hours after arriving at the hotel....the front desk staff were officious and unhelpful. This was also after numerous emails in advance advising that my wife is recovering from surgery and I needed check-in to be expedited.... THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS 3. Then the room. Having paid $500 per night, I really didn't expect a grotty, aged, 1950s looking room... later found out the hotel is on 25- years old, but is poorly maintained....lift buttons often didn't work... chips in the wooden table...both balcony chairs badly stained.... USB charging point in the room was broken... when maintenance came and pointed out another one they couldn't be bothered fixing the other 4. Evening cocktails was also most unpleasant with the pool full of kids and their parents lining up for the free grog.... and peanuts and potato chips 5. I expected a classy 4+ star hotel but instead my $500 per night bought me an average 3 star hotel * I felt like walking straight out of the hotel but due to my wife's limited mobility it was difficult to inspect other options, so I reluctantly put up with it

Stayed here with our 4 children, great location, wonderful breakfast and happy hour. All staff across the board were incredible. Will be staying here again

The rooms are good but the common areas were tired.

The breakfast was a very low standard. The areas outside the room.

Great location near the centre of Waikiki and the beach. We stayed in 2 bedroom partial ocean view. It was spacious enough for our family of 4. Room service was excellent. Having a free breakfast was a unbelievable helpfull. Also there was a daily reception in the afternoon with 2 free delicious cocktails. We are from Canada so stay was expensive due to weak Canadian buck but it was worth it, enjoyed the stay, recommended and will be back.

Everything we wanted to see around town was in walking distance.

The front desk staff here is fantastic! They were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. A big thank you to Alaine for making our experience so pleasant. The room was spotless, conveniently located near the beach and Waikiki Strip, and it even comes with a complimentary buffet breakfast. I highly recommend this place! Mahalo!
