The Audubon Inn

The Audubon Inn was the best choice for this area. It's an historic hotel with lots of charm & beauty. The bed was very comfortable which is #1 priority in my book. The room and bath were very nice with the exception of the placement of the piece of furniture which held the tv. Sitting on the bed, the tall post of the 4 post bed was directly in the center of my view of the tv. The cable behind it was taut telling me they placed it there due to cable length. However, can't they find a longer cable? The staff were very nice and helpful. The NOLA restaurant & bar in the inn were excellent! On a safety note, there was a lot of junk at the bottom of the stairs which would be a safety hazard if many people had to exit the inn in an emergency.

Our suite was delightful, only issue was the shower, the shower head needs to be replaced, it was frozen on the massage mode!

Beautiful historic building, friendly, welcoming staff, and comfortable rooms. More than expected.

Could have used a mini fridge and iron.

We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed at the Audubon Inn as a get away for a night. The hostess was very friendly and showed us how things in the room worked although she could not get the whirlpool tub to start. We had a drink in the bar and the staff, again were friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to check out. Live music made for a really enjoyable experience. The hotel room was nice sized with very dated decor. The bed made a lot of noise with any movement. Overall, nice but a 5 rating would require updated decor and finishes.

Everyone was very friendly from front desk to bartenders. It has a very hometown feel. The restaurant was excellent, but a bit pricey for portion sizes. There was some great live music on Friday night in the bar area. There is a also a small theater downstairs which played a movie on Saturday night. The downtown seems to be growing a bit and there's a nice coffee shop within a two block walk. We are looking forward to staying again and possibly taking advantage of the in-room massages. The Horicon marsh was within a couple minutes drive and we were able to do some hiking. I'm sure there would be a bit more to do in spring, summer, fall, but it was a great visit even in winter.

Accommodations were clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient for my business purposes. I would also consider returning to this location for personal travel / entertainment

We always like to stay in unique places and this is no exception high class and historic preservation is what we experienced when we stayed at the Audubon Inn. The pictures on the web site do not do it justice; we enjoyed our stay , the bar and Nola resteraunt attached were incredible. New Orleans style food and decor small , clean and well taken care of and the food was great. Thank you to all
