Beautiful room and garden!

Such a relaxing, beautiful respite! My husband and I just wanted a night away from routine and to attend a concert in Charlotte Here we found exactly what we needed - quiet, beautiful, historic, comfort After arriving, we walked the property and enjoyed the beautiful gardens then walked to an Italian restaurant for dinner and subsequently called an Uber to our concert for little money and in we partook of breakfast offered free at the property in the morning which was a hot full breakfast with table service We only stayed one night but look forward to returning - it was much more special than any ordinary hotel and less money than many of them downtown Thank you to all who make it special

Stunning property and gardens, lovely breakfast menu served in formal dining room. The beds, bedding and pillows were very comfortable (I like squishy soft pillows there was a good variety for all tastes)- Best sleep we’ve had on a trip. Plush robes were a nice luxury.

Deonte served us breakfast, he had exemplary customer service skills, kind, professional communication and happy to give enthusiastic information about the property. A rare find and by far the best employee we encountered. We were initially put off by the reception on arrival, who was the opposite of the great service received by Deonte. Luckily everyone else we encountered during our stay was lovely, but Deonte definitely went over and above. He completely changed our mood, minds and attitude from the indifferent start. In summary, the first impression is key, make sure reception staff is always on point.

Absolutely the BEST bed & breakfast. The rooms were nice, service was impeccable, breakfast was delicious, and the grounds were phenomenal! I could go on and on about how beautiful this place is. Not to mention the beds and bedding were comfortable. Would love to go back for a longer visit.

Having breakfast included was a nice bonus. The bananas foster french toast was excellent The service at the Mansion was impeccable. Everyone was so kind! The Mansion Hotel is in a very upscale neighborhood. It was lovely. We would love to stay here again if ever in the area,

It took a long time to get hot water in the shower in the 3rd floor. But I guess thats expected in an old house.

Excellent a la carte breakfast.
