1898 Waverly Inn

First time staying at a bed and breakfast, and it exceeded all my expectations! The staff is friendly and helpful and the Inn was charming! The weather was perfect and the social hour spilled out onto the spacious porch with all the guests chatting. A really enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely visit at the Waverly Inn and will definitely be visiting soon! The breakfast was delicious and we had so much fun at the social hour!

If you like old dilapidated homes needing repairs, with few amenities, you will enjoy this. The room was very expensive and much less than clean. The Inn at Biltmore would have been a better choice for us for less cost.

We spent a wonderful three days in a comfortable, well located Inn. Good made to order breakfast. We really enjoyed meeting some of the other guests during happy hour. Definitely plan on returning.

We have stayed here many times, and it never disappoints! Mike and Tracy are wonderful Innkeepers! We always feel right at home. Very nice social hour, and the breakfasts are excellent. Super convenient for exploring downtown Hendersonville and surrounding area.

Wonderful stay all around! Traveling solo it was especially nice to meet folks on the porch in rocking chairs for coffee in the morning and a happy hour later! Walking distance to such a quaint town and easy to get to hiking- My room was quiet and I loved the view outside from the window in the shower! Breakfasts were very good. This is really a 4.9 rating/ I’d give 5 stars if it was a bit easier to get from parking- their lot gets full and while there is parking close it’s a bit of a trek with lots of luggage. But I will definitely be back!

Breakfast was very good with several options on the menu to choose from. The food was fresh and hot when it came to out table.

It's an old Inn with lots of charm, however, bathrooms aren't as spacious as you typically see in newer hotels or Inns but certainly still good.

My stay at the Waverly Inn was excellent! The staff was very hospitable and made sure that everyone was well taken care of. The Waverly Inn was located extremely close to downtown Hendersonville and many restaurants and shops were within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying at the Waverly Inn if you’re looking for a comfortable visit in Western North Carolina.
