1898 Waverly Inn

We visited Hendersonville and stayed an evening at The Waverly Inn. It was an amazing experience, and we really enjoyed it. The Staff (Lindsey, Heather and the folks in the kitchen were very attentive. The evening get-together, and breakfast were fun and delicious. We also loved being able to walk to everything and enjoy the community. It is very close to cool shops, several restaurants and breweries.

Arrived very late so we entered through the back with a lock box code. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and very nice updated bath. Very accommodating staff. We used a local cab the whole time we were there. The driver gave us his personal cell number and we ended up with our own driver for the entire stay from airport on arrival to airport on departure.

My wife and two lady friends enjoyed every aspect of 1898 Waverly Inn. Three nights there got better and better, as we enjoyed so much what we did in Hendersonville and Asheville, and knowing that our wonderful Waverly Inn was waiting for us. The rooms are very “Innish” and lovely, and the newly added “walk-in” showers were a huge bonus to us 65+ folks. Positioned on Main Street, the easy walk to stores, restaurants and people-watching, were a daily and nightly aspect of our visit. Don’t wait ! The rooms are waiting for you and you won’t be let down, by the setting, or the whole staff, who smile, who clean and present an amazing breakfast every morning.

Great location, breakfast was good

We had a wonderful three night stay at the Waverly Inn. Mike the owner, and the entire staff were so accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, and the 5 pm social hour with Daisy (their beautiful dog) was relaxing and just the right touch. The location of the Inn was great as well. It was a close walk to all of the restaurants and unique shops. Hendersonville is a must see and visit town you don’t want to miss! We will be returning.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable and delicious—all words that describe the 1898 Waverly! We had a lovely time and would definitely stay there again!

Charming Inn with Character. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend for couples. The veranda was nice to sit in in the evening.

This is an excellent B and B. We have stayed in several and this has been our best experience. The wine after 5:00 is a nice touch. Thank you.

Is an awesome place to stay. Breakfast is delicious and enjoyed HAPPY Hour. Staff is incredible. Great location to walk downtown going back in February for a wine weekend
