The home is beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. We paid extra for a couples massage, which was amazing! We loved our stay.

I wished the home had more parking. we had to park on a side street, which I didn't particularly love.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The staff was amazing and warm! Breakfast was incredible! The room was perfect size for what we needed for an overnight stay. Walking distance to downtown was an absolute plus

Charming, beautiful Inn located in Hendersonville. Great location for shopping and good food. Tracey and Mike, the owners, couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming! In addition, the breakfasts were also five star!

My stay at the 1898 Waverly Inn was a highlight of 2025. Mike and Tracey were warm and welcoming and made me feel like we'd known each other forever instead of just meeting upon my arrival. They made the Inn feel like my home, too. My room was warm and cozy and the bed was super comfortable. I slept like a log! The updated en suite shower was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was fantastic with everything perfectly prepared and tasty, plus the coffee was delicious. The location was great for easy access to Asheville and free parking. This was my first visit to the western Carolinas, and I hope it won't be the last. See you next time, 1898 Waverly Inn!

Wonderfull stay.I,ve stayed a number of times before and always a joy.Nicely decorated for Christmas,friendly and hospitable.

I enjoyed how the building and furnishings were kept as close to the original as possible along with the added AC/heat and improved shower head. They even resurfaced the sink! Claw foot tub was beautiful. Even though it's next to the fire station, everything was VERY quiet at night. I will stay here again. Can't wait to go into the study and read some of the great books there. The only issue is that it is not wheelchair accessible. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to enter the building but most doorways are wide. In our room on the second floor, our bathroom would not be suitable for walker or wheelchair and has a low toilet with no grab bars. I don't know about the other rooms on first floor.

The owners were a delight! It was the perfect holiday location stay in Hendersonville. Historic, romantic, nostalgic. We will be back!
