1898 Waverly Inn

The location is excellent, easy walking to downtown. The atmosphere is lovely. It reminded me of visiting my grandparents and brought back some lovely memories. Our room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was like new, with generous proportions. The breakfast was tasty without being overwhelming. We also thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour with a complimentary drink of choice and cheese tray. It was certainly a value for our money when you included everything. We also enjoyed the downstairs parlor as well as the community room on our floor, where we spent the evening playing games with our friends and chatting. Honestly, this Inn felt like visiting family. Everyone was kind and helpful, and we enjoyed every minute. Guests have been coming there for years and I can see why. This is so much better than any hotel room!

My work colleague suggested I stay downtown and recommended The Waverly Inn and I’m glad he did. The room was cozy and the owner was gracious. Breakfast was delicious, too. I highly recommend this B&B.

Stayed at the Waverly for the Palmyra Takeover event and had the absolute BEST time. The hospitality shown by Mike, Tracey and staff is unmatched. The inn is in the perfect location, walking distance to lots of wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. Also great hiking and sightseeing within driving range. The rooms were spotless and cozy and the breakfast was delicious. Would love to stay here again sometime!

My husband and I had a lovely weekend at The Waverly Inn. Staff was helpful, room was comfortable, and it is an easy walk downtown!

Went for wine weekend at the Waverly. They set everything up as far as transport and a meal at 5 wineries in the area. After the long day wine tasting, Mike (the owner) opened up the Waverly's happy hour even though beyond the time serving wine, beer, sliders, and cookies. Am awesome host. Stayed in the Flaming Azalea room which was really nice. Very comfortable and quiet. Before I forget, their in house prepared to order breakfast is delicious and the service fantastic. Definitely a great place to stay when in the area!

I spent two days at the Waverly Inn, and it was wonderful! The inn is lovely, and the people are so nice. I’ll definitely be back.
