I couldn’t find it and Google Maps had me driving in circles

It was pitch black and no lights were on so there was no office to check in

Located away from tourists traffic of Solvang. Hotel had wonderful accommodations.

Staff was not all that forthcoming. Seemed too preoccupied to really give first class service. Breakfast was only O.K. Not much selection.

Love everything about this inn! Romantic, clean, relaxing and perfect getaway for a long weekend. I can understand why others would choose this location for a wedding. Although I don't get to go to the restaurant this time, I have in the past and The Victor completes the stay perfectly. Love how spacious the rooms are and the bathrooms are a favorite for me. There is nothing bad I could say about this location and would return in a heartbeat. Also, such friendly staff with may interaction

This charming little hotel acts more like a high end Bed and Breakfast. Staff is warm and welcoming. The building is upscale and charming. Rooms are large and well-appointed. Ours even had a large free-standing tub in a raised alcove. Outdoors there is a fire pit and hot tub. Inside, wine and charcuterie are served in a welcoming living room which features a fireplace. Dessert service follows. The hotel's restaurant and bar called The Victor is next door which makes for an easy stay. In the morning, breakfast is served at individual tables pre-set for each reservation group. This is wine country and we saw a number of groups of two couples traveling together. Parking is off the street and electric chargers are available. Great stay. We will come again.

We loved The Genevieve! Beautiful property. Our room was ginormous and the bath area was super clean and tiled throughout. Ridiculously big shower plus soaking tub. Expertly furnished. We had a beautiful private patio but a storm prevented us from using it. Fireplace & huge TV. Super quiet area. Comfy bed and separate make-up area. Lovely wine hour & breakfast accompanying reservation. Great location. Walkable to a few wineries, several restaurants, & local museums. A fun wine “passport” to local wineries. We will definitely return!

My husband and I were delighted to find this lovely small hotel on a very rainy day. Our intention was to drive further north but the weather was so bad that we had to stop for the night. Imagine our surprise to discover the Genevieve. Although this is a small hotel, the attitude and service operates more like a high-end Bed and Breakfast. Guests gathered in the large fireplace room for wine and charcuterie. Later, dessert was offered, as well. Breakfast was served at individual tables in the same lovely room. Our large and comfortable room appears to have been one of the smaller rooms in the hotel. At over 400 sq. ft., the room had a raised alcove with a large free-standing tub, a comfortable king bed, seating, a generous closet and a long bathroom counter. We were sad to rush out in the morning without a soak in the outdoor hot tub, time at the fire pit, or an opportunity to enjoy the included tasting room visits at nearby wineries. Next time!
