Hampton Inn Vidalia

Rooms were filthy. Bar area was so dirty you could write your name in dust. Grounds area has trash all over. My husband and I always stay at Hamptons and this hotel does not represent all of our other experiences with Hampton.

The a/c was falling out of the window. There was a pump or motor outside the window that was very loud both nights I was there. I liked the suite overall.

The property is under renovation, which was not mentioned at time of reservation. When I arrived, I thought the facility was closed. The stay wasn’t totally a bad experience, but I did way overpay for the stay!

Properly needs work but was clean

Poor condition, doors didn't close, trash was left in room.

The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the bathroom. The tub was not up to par. I would've stayed longer if the bathroom was nicer, it made the whole room feel run down.

This hotel was a disaster. It was supposedly a 3 star hotel. Our room stank like urine. The bathroom was not clean. The tiles were gross, dirty and sticky. The shower was so moldy, we would not use it. The box of Kleenex had three tissues in it. The coffee stand was in the bathroom and there was a dead bug in the coffee pot. There was no drain in the sink and there were drain flies in the bathroom. The comforter on the bed was stained with blood or makeup- could not tell but we could not use that either. The bed itself was hard and uncomfortable. There was dirt or mold all around the molding on the ceiling. The carpet was dirty and all the furniture was banged up or dirty. The room was just thoroughly disgusting. And the noise from other rooms was loud all night long. This place is just a dump. We feel completely ripped off. We for a 3 star Hampton Inn and got a no star stay.

Under renovation which it needs badly. Oven not working so no hot breakfast. Pool is green and growing. Our door lock would not open for me or desk clerk. Instead of changing rooms, we left. Only so much I can take. The clerk was nice and friendly but can’t do much with nothing to work with….

This hotel was nice 10 years ago - now it's a nightmare. My room was extremely dirty, dead bugs, hair... so disappointed. I told the front desk and they had nothing to say or offer. I used points - so I feel like I lost a potential stay that could have been nice and chose a roach motel. YUCK

We did not know until we arrived that this hotel was under remodel. The door jam on the room was loose and we asked about the security of it and was there another room available. We were told that all the rooms were like that and there were no other rooms available. We did not feel secure in the room. Room had apparently been abused and was filthy. Had not been cleaned very well. This hotel should not be allowed to stay open in its present state. It should be closed until remodel is complete.
