Hilton Vacation Club The Cove on Ormond Beach

The lay of the room was good , nice split plan . The kids enjoyed the indoor pool

The view was not great at all facing the parking lot when I was told it was supposed to be a part sea view . I paid for a sea view, and upon arrival the front desk attendant stuck us on the first floor facing the parking lot, I was told it was first come first served others arrived after us , booking the same two bedrooms sweet and was given the upper floors , we knew from the beginning that the attendant was lying , also I had to go back to the front desk to ask a question, it was around 10:30pm and I noticed that other guess arrived late and was given the upper level so I ask the night attendant and he said ,that was wrong of what she did and offers to move me but I said it was fine because the kids was already settled in and at that point I didn’t really want to be bothered with the issue!!!.

The hotel seemed clean but old and updated or being updated. The staff did there job but not over friendly. Location was fabulous.

We would have liked to have been informed that the hotel and pool was under renovation.

The Suite was awesome layout

The bedmmattress was not comfortable, old shower curtain left in washer from before, when booking the hotel contacted me about construction, i expressed that I wanted high level close to ocean, received 4th floor, and furthest from.ocean right elevator. 407B.

The room was absolutely amazing! It was like a mini apartment. It was clean! The view of the oven was to die for. The kitchen came with glasses and things you would need. It was such an amazing experience. I am coming back for a weekend trip and want to stay in room 705 every-time I come.

The pool area was under construction so we were able to enjoy that. But they did accommodate us and we were able to use the hotels pool next door to us which was nice.

Nice beach. That’s it. The hotel was not good

Property pool closed. Not enough beach chairs and umbrellas. Pool Construction noise by beach was bad. Our AC broke. Only one set of towels. 2 times our key card didn’t work and locked out of room. Had to wait for maintenance to arrive.

Easy to find. Ok ocean view. Restaurants close by.

Many parts of the hotel are under renovation. If we had known this we would have booked elsewhere. When we arrived a few minutes before 4pm the desk rep said our room was not ready but they would call when available. That was OK but he never called. About 4:45 I called and was told the room was ready. I don't expect to have to call Hilton when they said they would call me! Room was modern and furnishings adequate. There was a bed and two bar stools. That's it! Not a chair to sit on. Room was clean. If I have a need to return to Ormond Beach I'll find a better hotel. There are plenty to choose from!
