Hilton Vacation Club The Cove on Ormond Beach

I had a pretty disappointing stay overall. The pool was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel, only to find out it was under construction with no prior notice from the VIP booking rep. Parking was also a headache—very limited spaces, and I had to circle around multiple times before finding a spot. The room itself wasn’t much better. The garbage disposal had a terrible smell that made the whole kitchenette area unpleasant to use. On top of that, it took THREE hours to get a blow dryer delivered to the room after requesting one, which is just unacceptable for a basic amenity. To make matters worse, there was an employee smoking right out front near the entrance, which didn’t give a great first impression and felt unprofessional. Overall, not a great experience and definitely not worth the price. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This place was very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The beach was quiet while we were there. There was a great restaurant across the street, Smokehouse Grill. They are currently doing reconstruction on the pool area and other amenities, ( due to a previous hurricane) with an offer to go down the street to use the facilities, at I believe was the Daytona resort. We were put on the bottom floor with no view of anything but a parking lot and construction. Most of the places we’ve stayed have ocean views from all rooms and found this disappointing. If you don’t mind the inconveniences, you might want to check it out. Be sure to ask for a room with a view!

We were very disappointed to find there was no outdoor pool this time. However, we still would have come. We had a beautiful renovated room with a great view. The location is great. Restaurants, grocery stores and shops are with walking distance. Ormond Beach is a great town.
