Friendly staff big room nice view

Decor was tired damp on wall shower had black mould on grout and seals

We stayed for one night, and our room rate included dinner and breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Our three course evening meal was tasty and breakfast was plentiful and good too. Managed to park at the side of the building as we arrived later in the evening.

Das Nachtessen, das nicht im Preis inbegriffen war, war gut. Das Personal (nicht der Vorgesetzte!) war freundlich.

Das Hotel ist alt und schmuddelig. Die WC-Spülung hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Haare waschen war unmöglich, da die Brause kaputt war. Mehr als ein freundliches Entschuldigung gab es nicht. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht – eines mit Gartenblick und eines ohne. Das ohne Gartenblick war sehr hässlich – der Ausblick ging direkt auf eine Wand, und man hätte sogar über ein Dach ins Zimmer einsteigen können. Unsere Kinder wollten dort nicht schlafen. Obwohl wir als Familie gebucht und Zimmer in der Nähe verlangt hatten, lagen unsere Zimmer weit auseinander. Alles war sehr hellhörig. Insgesamt viel zu teuer.

Trek to our room through a labyrinth of corridors , room s are functional but pretty tired Being asked to pay £20 for our dog , this was not mentioned at time of booking , seems a bit much most places we stay is £10

Position on edge of town. Good access from main road. Good base for walking, hiking or , in my case, photography.
