vriendelijk personeel en zeer lekker ontbijt. ook lift was ok.

Aaron on the front desk was very friendly. The food was great and at reasonable price. Had car parking.

The King room was nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. The bathroom was really old. There was no toilet roll holder and the toilet seat was totally loose.

Les chambres sont très vétustes et sales (taches sur les murs, moquettes qui sent, joint de la douche avec moisissures, peintures écaillées…). Une horreur. Petit déjeuner buffet large mais produits de qualité médiocre. Je ne recommande pas du tout

The hotel is tired to say the least with creaking floor boards both in public areas and the bedrooms. The bathroom taps had not been cleaned this year would be my guess. The beds had springs popping through when sleeping . The room was old and tired to say the least. The barman when asked to put the tv on told me it had not worked in decades. Strange as the red light was on the TV , so either it does not work or he could not be bothered, seems strange if a TV was broke the power would be left on . No taxi availability which in itself is acceptable however a month before I arrived I asked the hotel to arrange a taxi and I also asked if they had an electric car charger - I am still waiting on the reply . I asked to see the manger in the morning , the only person on covering the front desk was the food/ beverage manager, he assured me he would take this up with the hotel manager and I would get a phone call or email . Again still waiting on either.

The food for breakfast was pleasant and a good selection of everyday and local items were available.

On arrival we were given very limited options as to when we could have breakfast (8.30 being the earliest available). It emerged later that this was because there were 3 coach parties (all arriving after us) who were given priority. This also meant that we were almost alone in a large dining room with staff cleaning up around us. The room decor was tired, and more importantly we found it noisy, with banging doors all night, and noise from the neighbouring room.

I loved the high ceilings, the drapes, and table and chairs area in our room. We had a very spacious room with a wonderful view. I loved the big windows and furniture in the room. The hotel also had a spacious lounge area, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dinner was delicious and the staff were extremely nice.

The ceiling in the room, especially the bathroom was starting to cave/fall in.

Everything was clean and the beds comfy. The breakfast was also good

Some things in the room were broken though this wasn’t a major issue. We had a hot water pipe in our room which made the room really hot and hard to sleep. We told staff and while they were nice, they did not offer to move us and they didn’t even have a fan we could borrow.

Hotel is starting to look run down and requires refurbishment, bedroom window would not shut and clearly has not been shut for some time, bedrooms require re decoration.
