Chocolate Express Hotel & Suites Hershey

It's very average hotel and not so clean. Found the used diaper by the previous guest behind the TV stand. More over, unexpected $18 fee collection in hotel in the name of cleaning. It was a shocking news not only for me, noticed other guests are also arguing with the front desk person. This is was not mentioned during booking and we were annoyed. Breakfast included, but just average.

Way outdated. Bathroom was terrible. Old air conditioning units kept you awake all night beds lumpy needs new mattresses overall a disastrous stay

I did not like how the ice machine worked no scooper so if anyone wanted to be spiteful that’s the place to be which is nasty… over all the room we were in was okay beside the toliet not being able to flush… the facility was very out dated for the price we paid wouldn’t stay there again.

Disappointed with no one at the front desk. Had to call a number and half the time the didn't answer. Pool area was unkept and dirty.

Property still had markings of quality in all over. Went into our room sofa bed frame had no support to it and another queen bed the box spring was busted. Mattress were hard. Found a dirty sheet under the bed covers. Didnt wish to attempt the free breakfast. Only 3 or4 other cars in whole hotel parking lot. When i booked had much better reviews. Would of stayed away if i looked at updated and could cancel it. Toilet you had to hold handle down till it completely emptied out. Other ac's vent cover in the hallway next to elevator.

It was not very clean they had laundry room door propped open and was dirty laundry all over and not looking like was really getting anywhere. Towels were stained in the rooms. Had exposed wires in the ceiling. Room was smaller than expected. Found dirty tissues in room under couch bed. Mini fridge shelf was broken air conditioner had no thermostat so room was either to hot or to cold. Smoking area had no ashtrays and had no lighting for night time. The dining area had old food laying around. Was a terrible experience in hotel.

Newley renovated. Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. They are working hard to restore the old Quality inn hotel to new life. Was a great value and that’s what we were after this trip. Recommend it.

Hotel, is very basic, old and dated.. Suprise 18 dollar fee at check in, for what? Already paid on expedia. Will not stay here again.

Due to a technical issue when trying to book the site timed out and it just circled when trying to pay I assumed it did not go through so I tried again the day we were going I found out it did i called both the hotel and hotel.com and to no avail was told I could not get a refund on a mistake that was not mine so yes I’m thoroughly pissed off and all I got was the hotel and hotel.com pointing fingers at each other saying each other is to blame

Good price to stay there but the rooms were really gross. Looked like they haven't been cleaned in forever. Stains on the sheets and comforters, bathroom had bugs, freezer in the fridge had black mold. One of the days I pulled into the parking lot and the door to house keeping was open to outside and the sheets were all over the ground. I did end up staying for the two days I booked only because I wouldn't get my money back.
