Vino Bello Resort

Lovely spot with beautiful grounds and enticing pools for the warm days. The old fashioned, fragrant roses at every turn made for a beautiful sight. The room was a little small, but features good. Microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator as well as dishes if you wanted to bring a meal back the the room. Glad I called first to get correct info on where to check in since there are two facilities at the Meritage Resort, but all went well , signed in while sipping a glass of champagne they provided. Lovely stay.

The location is good, convenient to Napa. The facilities were ok, we didn’t use any except the hot tub one night, which was fine The staff were very nice, just not able to fix any of the problems

1. Our room on the first floor had a patio facing the parking lot, we had to keep the drapes closed all the time, so the room was always dark 2. PARKING WAS HORRIBLE- the resort was full with several corporate events, and there was parking available for fewer than half the guests. People had to park along the access road and walk a long way to their rooms 3. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling inside the shower, there was light visible from the floor above!

They over charge and when we went to go talk to them and wanted answers , they kept saying they will contact us and never did.

For the second time in less than three months, although our Club Wyndham owner website indicated that we had been upgraded to a two-bedroom unit, Vino Bello Resort booked us into a one-bedroom unit, and the “manager” couldn’t do anything to help. Neither could “owner care” at Club Wyndham’s corporate office. This is an indication of how Club Wyndham treats its VIP owners, so you can imagine how they treat others. To their credit, Vino Bello has done some much-needed upgrades, with new paint, new furniture, new carpet, and new light fixtures. That’s all good. Apparently, they also need to upgrade the plumbing, because on three different days, we could not get hot water. Our “owner update” was useful, as the Wyndham representatives helped us understand how previous sales staff misled us into making foolish “investments” with Club Wyndham. Vino Bello is a nice resort in a lovely location, but customer service reflects a management attitude either of gross inattention to or disdain for the guest experience.

A lot of construction and painting going on now - it is being renovated. I feel like we should have been given notice or heads up while booking or shortly after. We were actually ok with it, but I can see how some people might not take it so well
