My family came down in March 2026 and we were very excited to see that there was an Arnis class during our stay. My sons and I have been training in Arnis in Canada for over 7 years and it is a passion of ours, especially since it is a part of our heritage. Arnis has a deep history going back to Cebu's hero, Lapulapu, so I was hoping there would be some way we can experience Arnis in Cebu. We were extremely happy and privileged to be taught by Rick. Although it was a beginner class, it was great to learn the basics from a different system. Rick is an extremely great teacher, he is friendly and he kept all the students engaged. He was gracious enough to stay with me after the class to show me some of his style and some techniques from his family's system. I am truly privileged and thankful to be taught by Rick. I hope we can cross paths again!

My fiancé and I visited CHI Spa during our trip to Cebu, where he proposed to me, making it one of the most unforgettable trips of our lives. To thank him for his proposal and for making this trip so special, I treated my fiancé to a massage at CHI Spa — and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip. The entire experience felt truly luxurious from start to finish. As Japanese visitors with limited English, we truly appreciated how kind, welcoming, and attentive all the staff were. They made us feel very special throughout our visit. Special thanks to Mitzi, Lynil, Lalaini (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!), and the whole team for making this memory even more beautiful. We will definitely come back someday!

We had our wedding reception at Shangri-La and it was by no means a disappointment. The coordination staff were immaculate and our every need was satisfied. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere even more so. A special thank you to our lovely butler Jade who was a blessing on the night and Mara Mae who dealt with our every whim from the beginning. The event would not have been as special as it was without their help. Salamat Kaayo!
