Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu

A beautiful resort with such friendly staff and amazing facilities. The range and quality of restaurants was great and very good value. All in all we had a lovely relaxing 5-day break and never once felt the need to leave the resort.

The queues for breakfast! Every day, without exception, there was a wait to be able to get breakfast. Surely the hotel should have some ideas on how to navigate this!

My husband and I enjoyed our mini vacation, the room had a view list and the resort has good food and many activities to do, we will definitely come back when we have children to enjoy again.

The location was accessible. Our room views was so nice and to the house keeping who keep our room clean on 8044 was super b! We went to Tea of Spring for our lunch on our first day and we don't know what was the Chef recommendation, so we ask someone to call a Chef. And that was Chef Dexter, he asked us first of our likes & dislikes which is nice. And to the server named Bernabe, he keep checking on us and asked if the food was good. He's nice. We went after to Acqua as well, we meet Jovalyn and she was nice too. When we got our first breakfast in tides, we have high expectations with the servers to interact with us but, nobody check on us because they're more focused on foreigners. We would like to thanks all the chef from Tides Restaurant for making our request very convenient. Especial thanks to Sam, Marlon, Leslie, Paul, John, and Janet for interacting us and giving us food recommendations. We are so disappointed to breeze bar when we ordered the coconut juice. We waited for like 20mins for our order, so what we did was we are the one to come to the counter to check/update if our order was still there. And lastly, in Buko Bar. The Kasadya was very entertaining. We had a blast night that we couldn't forget. Amazing food and amazing performances. But overall, everything was all worth it. If we could rate everything, that was 8/10 for all the experience.

Nina is a very nice me and my wife very impress the way she treat us we are so feel welcome when we arrive she always smile every time she talk to us and I’m so appreciated when she ask about out stay if there’s a celebration then we told her we are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary she will make sure she will give us a compliment and we arrive early I thought we are going wait until the check in time but she arrange it that we can be in our room so I’m so happy about the choice that we choose again this hotel in fact Shangrila is our favorite Hotel and lastly Nina make sure that she give information and told us if we need help just don’t hesitate to ask her or the hotel staff it’s a good choice Nina thank you and well done keep up the good work😊

My massage with Miss Rose was super relaxing. I felt the tension on my back ease up. Legit she has magic hands! Place was also perfect because I requested the area facing the sea and the sound of the waves made it more comforting. Truly an amazing experience!
