"Fantastic stay at AP Adriana"

10.0

Fantastic stay at AP Adriana earlier this month. We had read many reviews beforehand so knew what to expect. The staff were always very friendly throughout our stay. Food was lovely. We mostly ate in the main buffet restaurant, it was busy but just as you expect in an all inclusive resort. Loads of choice and really friendly staff. We ate in the other two smaller restaurant on two occasions. They were both really nice, you have to book in advance, just check the menu for beforehand. We had an annexe room, which as previously mentioned, is across a road. Buggies are available but we enjoyed the walk to and from the main pool/bar area. The room was small, our balcony was fine but we were in a larger annexe room. Shower was great, only issue was that there was no seal on the bottom of the shower screen so we would floor the floor unless we held the shower head away from the glass. The housekeepers did a great job, with fresh towels daily. Pool area was lovely and we were able to get sunbeds easily. All inclusive drinks at the bar were good quality and we didn't wait ages to be served. The entertainment team were really nice, approachable with lots of options for all. Although, sometimes there was confusion with what was on when. They would go round at breakfast with a slip of paper to say what's on but when we'd ask, some of the activities were not on. You had to check the schedule at the hut for the actual activities. Evening entertainment was really good, I think they do the same things each week. My 3 year old loved the mini disco. Not quite enough tables for everyone as one night we sat on a step and knocked a glass over, which is not good with a toddler! The complex is huge and you could have two completely different holidays here. There is the main pool area which is busier and then over at the other restaurants there is a smaller and much quieter pool area. We walked down to the beach a few days, which has quite a lot of steps down the cliff, but we like walking so it was fine for us. There are sun beds down there but no toilet facilities or drinks, so plan ahead and bring what you need with you. There are water refilling stations around the complex. We used Uber quite a lot when we went out to ZooMarine, Fotoplanet, Vilamoura and Loule market. We actually walked along the beach to Vilamoura which was a nice 30 minute walk with a toddler. Overall a really lovely stay and would consider coming back to AP Adriana.

"Exceptional"

10.0

Nice hotel, rooms were always clean, staff and food was good. When I booked it said one bottle of wine per stay which we did not get but rest was very nice. Especially the jacuzzi and sauna facilities which other hotels might charge these were free. Overall very nice experience, definitely recommend.

"Exceptional"

10.0

It’s a good price for good accommodation and amenities. The beach is amazing, food is good, around the hotel needs updating. Around the pool some areas of the floor were lifting in places and dangerous for kids. The mini golf is a waste of time, flooded, covered in leaves and torn, don’t bother. We had a good time. I don’t think I’d go back there though.

"More a family hotel than couples"

6.0

Check in at this hotel was swift but our room would not be ready for almost 3 hours! there was a room to store our luggage and we managed to get a sunbed despite it being after 12. When we got our room which was supposed to be a twin superior it was really disappointing. Storage was minimal, bathroom tiny, bedroom was more like a box room, not that we would be inclined to but you 'couldn't swing a cat'! However it was clean and the beds were comfortable. We queried the room type with reception and after entering our details the receptionist could not tell but went into the back office and came out and said it was superior, hate to think what the standard room was like, we didn't even have a view, we looked out onto the approach road to the hotel. As we don't spend much time in the room we made the most of a bad job. Towels were changed most days and they were a good size. The bin in the room was not always emptied and the windowsill on the small window looked like it had never been cleaned. Pool was good but a section of it very deep which could be a worry as some children were swimming on lilo's unsupervised. Plenty of sunbeds however after our first day we chose to stay in the surrounding garden areas. The beach was more of a ten minute than 2 minute walk away and there were many steps to get down to the beach. The food was good although repetitive, but there was something for everyone. Our favourite was 'The Grill' speciality restaurant on meat night, I don't normally like the sausages on holiday but these were something else. The queues at the bar throughout the day got so bad people were doubling up on their orders. Not the fault of the staff there just wasn't enough of them. The entertainment team were very good throughout the day and evening, however it was difficult to get a seat to watch the shows. I would say that this hotel was more for families than couples and it was a bit out of the way with nothing to do outside of it, however the uber taxi's were quick and cheap.

"Week away"

6.0

We have just come home from a week holiday Pros: lovely hotel, lovely beach and all staff couldn’t do enough for you read reviews about waiting ages for drinks but this was not the case, I would highly suggest private transfer to and from airport 30/35 mins in a transfer best decision we made! Also if you want to visit albuferia or Vila moura use uber much cheaper then taxi and bus. No silly mad dash run for sunbeds I. The morning , cons- the reason we marked this down is food options were not fantastic! We thought this let the hotel down meat was, fish pork or turkey with occasional chicken, lunchtime there was pizza which always was a hit, it lacked children options in my opinion but saying that the grill bar saved it for us! Another thing that let it down we arrived at 10am and our room wasn’t ready until 3pm, you can still use all facilities however I like to be settled then start the day!

"Fantastic holiday"

10.0

Pros: Animation Team, close to the beach, big beds for a family of 4. Cons: blan food, need a big shower with more pressure, late service for cleaning rooms. ANIMATION TEAM, Where do I start Fantastic, energetic, 5 star. Every night has a theme. My top 3 shows were the White Party/Comedy Show&Dance Bingo. The team is full of energy 24/7 loads of activities throughout the day for the kids & and adults too.My kids loved the kids' club&would rather spend their day in the kids' club instead of their parents. Richard/Ibo/Geo&team, thank you very much from Kavi,Prem and the family. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME.

"A lovely week at Adriana"

8.0

We’ve just returned from a week’s stay and we didn’t want to leave, we could have easily stayed another week. The room we were allocated was perfect, right by the quiet pool in T block. We overlooked the pool and had a perfect spot to access the pool bar, the grill and Celerio restaurant , which we enjoyed both meals. We were also a short walk from the beach, which I have to say was the most magnificent beach I’ve ever seen, we went every day! We used the big pool a few times but it was busy and noisy, our kids preferred the one nearest to us. We used the splash pad a couple of times too which the kids enjoyed. My only negatives to this holiday was that the food selection in the main restaurant wasn’t great, they need to cater better for children, a kids station would be good as we struggled to get decent food for the kids on the night. Breakfast and lunch on the other hand was good, especially the pizzas. I do feel like even though this hotel is classed as a family hotel I think the kids are a bit of an after thought, as the play park and splash park are out of the way. The games room needs a good revamp and maybe better entertainment for kids on the night. However, this didn’t spoil our holiday as we really enjoyed it, the grounds are beautiful and our room was lovely, spacious and modern.

"Lovely hotel"

10.0

Lovely hotel, very green -palm trees everywhere, 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach. Pool areas and splash pad were great. My husband is gluten free always food suitable for him, they ran out of gluten free beer and went above and beyond immediately ordering him some for the next morning. We got a taxi to Albuferia which was very busy and also to Villamoura which was beautiful- great marina with lots of restaurants. A great family holiday thank you AP 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

"It's a huge thumbs up from us!"

10.0

We had a wonderful family holiday at the Adrianna Beach Hotel. The room, grounds, pools and beach all well maintained and cleaned daily. The staff work so hard. Big shout out to the animation team especially (Rogerio and Richard), who made our holiday. Our kids age 8 and 6 loved their daily high fives and activities. The night time shows are well organised and varied, some started a little too late for us but what we did watch were entertaining, especially the white party and dance night run by the hotel staff. The food was always nice and varied and although the dining areas can be busy we always got a table and never waited longer than a few minutes for drinks or a refresh of plates, cups etc, again the staff work so hard and can't do enough to help. The pastel de natas were delicious. Our room block V was next to the smaller pool and we loved the bar and grill over that side for day time drinks and snacks. We never struggled to get loungers even after a lie in around 9am. Drinks were nice, the kids loved the mocktails ☺️ The hotel grounds are lovely to walk around with a mix of gardens and woodland areas. There is a little activity trail next to the beach entrance which was cute. The park and splash areas were great for the kids. Kids club had daily activities, 2 sessions per day. My two joined in a few times and enjoyed themselves and made friends. Beach access is down quite a few steps a few minutes walk from the main pool. Not great for people with mobility problems or very small children. Gym was modern and had everything you needed. All in all we had a great trip and would definitely return to this hotel. Top: take a drinks bottle to refill at the water stations.

"Great entertainment"

8.0

Hotel is lovely and great location near the beach , entertainment team brilliant, good and drinks perfect and nice cleaning staff, only downside was when we checked in, women , blond hair , about 50 years old, had badge with name Monica, very disrespectful and unprofessional, she was serving us and the other couple came to check in desk to be served by other staff, Monica left us and started to talk in other language to them, putting their all inclusive bands for them and we just stood watching her blanking us, this was our first impression and it was bad
