Picina en la terraza, snack poco variados con all inclusive, no avisar que la playa estaba cerrada por obras

I stayed at your hotel from July 17th to the 21st. The food is delicious and varied, the reception and restaurant staff are very charismatic and attentive, but certain people from the security department are not at all friendly, like a guard named (Yohana) who we noticed on repeated occasions is grotesque and not very empathetic with her coworkers. During our stay we witnessed the poor treatment she gave to one of her coworkers in the pool area. We did not like that action at all.

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, esta cerca del centro y enfrente de la playa pero justo en estos meses hay una obra justo en la zona de playa y no se puede acceder, lo cual tenes que caminar 1 cuadra aproximadamente para tener acceso a la playa.

La pileta es muy linda, pero chica para la cantidad de gente que hay, y los ascensores del hotel son muy pocos y muy lentos para poder llevar a todos los huésped del hotel. Tendrían que mejorar esas cosas, igualmente el resto del hotel muy bien 👌

I like the hotel the pool is a little small but overall good

The rooms were spacious with nice big beds and plenty pillows, Maids were very kind and left the rooms very clean but overall the staff in the restaurant were amazing. Especially Carlos Perez and Daniel, such warm and kind gentleman, always bringing coffee and serving us with a smile, the kids even took pictures with one as they were also happy.

I want to share my experience to help other travelers make informed decisions. On Expedia’s website, the hotel advertises beach umbrellas, in-room minibars, and an “all-inclusive” plan with access to two restaurants plus the buffet. However, this is misleading: Beach umbrellas and chairs are not included – you have to pay extra. The “minibar” is just an empty fridge – it doesn’t contain anything. The all-inclusive plan only covers the buffet. The other two restaurants require additional payment. So in reality, this hotel is not truly all-inclusive. I find this very misleading and disappointing. On a positive note, I want to highlight that the staff was excellent – very kind and attentive throughout our stay. I hope this helps other travelers and that Expedia reviews this listing to ensure it reflects the actual services offered.

Really enjoyed my stay

Hotel Cartagena Plaza was one of the fewest all inclusive hotels in the city of Cartagena. And I gotta say it didn’t disappoint. Food, hospitality and overall service was exceptional.
