Hotel Continental - Reims

Really excellent hotel. It was centrally located. The restaurant was frequented by locals. It had the best food at the lowest price than any other restaurant we visited in France for 14 days.

A great place to stay with great staff, easy parking in the underground garage just outside the hotel. Very friendly staff and willing to help with directions and maps. Loved this place for our one night stay.

We loved Hotel Continental! Great little property with great location and service!

We were a group of 13 staying the region for 6 days and the easy access to the train station was great. They had a nice breakfast in the morning and the restaurant/bar was available for food and drinks all day. The concierge service helped tremendously with transportation, some dinner reservations and even assisted one of our customers mailing a large antique trunk. All in all, a good experience and would stay there again.

Very central hotel lovely rooms, comfortable beds

Very convenient location, literally 2 min walk from the train station. Check in was easy And the allowed an early check in which was nice. They give you a glass water bottle at check in to use at their water station for your stay. They offer you a free glass of champagne if you opt for no maid service. It was just me so I did. Now for the not so good. Each time I used the shower, my bathroom flooded. And I don’t just mean a little water. I had to use every towel each time to soak up to not slip. The clean your own room deal is not the best. Buy your own bubbly. There was someone else’s hair stuck to the wall of the shower and even pubic hair on the floor. So unpleasant. The room was small, nice amenities in the room, except there was no hand lotion. I went downstairs to ask for some and the desk clerk replied, in your class of room, don’t offer hand lotion. I replied, you mean my 180,00 four star hotel room can’t have hand lotion. I was miffed to say the least. I walked off saying 25 years in the hospitality industry, even a crappy hotel gives you a little bottle of lotion. To my surprise, she showed up 15 min later with lotion. And replaced all my towels from my flooded bathroom. Breakfast was a nightmare. France is known for omelets and the little first year chef was either over cooking or as mine came. Raw. He was having to make coffee, cook eggs. Waited 15 min for coffee. Everyone was not happy. Such a shame, a beautiful hotel with such potential.

Beautiful, modern hotel with great service! It was our honeymoon and they made it very special for us. We enjoyed the restaurant and a massage. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful location in the heart of Reims, the continental is comfortable, unpretentious, it has a wonderful bar and their staff? I can’t say enough nice things about them. They were incredibly helpful during our stay, and we are very grateful for their hospitality. We would definitely go back. The one thing I will caution you on is that it is in the heart of the entertainment district with lots of restaurants so there is lots of noise that goes on late into the night. But if you’re a night owl, you’ll be right at home! And the restaurants in the area are fabulous.
