Hotel Continental - Reims

Clean property in an excellent location. Very walkable to train station, cafes, and local sites.

Great location in Reims. Lovely hotel, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable, good pillows. We were offered a glass of complementary champagne in leu of room service, we were only staying 2 days, so that worked nicely for us. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is an old building but has been completely renovated - fairly modern but the decor has a nod to history. All the staff were delightful - friendly attentive and welcoming. A nice touch for those who like to save the planet - you are given a glass water bottle for your room on arrival which you fill up at the water cooler in reception when you run out - and even better - you can opt not to have your room serviced and get a glass of champagne in the bar to compensate. The hotel was immaculately clean, beds very comfortable and dinner and breakfast in the restaurant both excellent. Parking - very handily there is a very large underground car park right outside the front door; don't panic if you can't find a space to start with as there are 5 levels and there seemed to be plenty of space lower down - you use a lift to get out anyway. Use the entry ticket to pay at the meter on the street level (above ground) (you can buy a multi day pass). We did have problems getting the barrier to lift, but there is an attendant near to the barrier, so we did manage to escape. What's not to like? Would definitely stay theer if we go back to Reims.

Our experience at the Continental Hotel was excellent from start to finish. We were on a road trip and called the hotel earlier that morning to see if they could prepare our rooms ahead of check-in. Tom at the front desk went above and beyond to make that happen, and our rooms were ready when we arrived—huge thanks to him for the seamless welcome! A special shout-out to Benjamin at the concierge desk. We hadn’t booked any champagne cellar tours in advance, but he worked his magic and secured us four last-minute tickets to Ruinart. He gave us all the details—pricing, attire, logistics—and handled everything with efficiency and care. Truly some of the best concierge service we’ve ever experienced. As for the room, we stayed in a junior suite that was spacious, bright, and beautifully comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and the shower was phenomenal. The only small hiccup was that the room got a bit warm at night, and the A/C took a little adjusting. But overall, it didn’t take away from a great stay. If we return to Reims, we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

EXCELLENT Hotel in the PERFECT LOCATION ... easy walk to the train station and very close to 100's of cafes & restaurants ... also close to the Cathedral

The parking accommodations at the Continental Hotel were extraordinarily difficult and created an enormous amount of stress. I would highly recommend for travelers to seek accommodations OUTSIDE of the city of Reims or bypass the city altogether. We witnessed a young couple backing out of their car and side swiping another car in the parking lot below the Continental Hotel. They drove off without even looking back. While the hotel staff showed some amount of empathy, it was clear that they had no control over the situation. This should serve as a warning to all travelers to seek accommodations elsewhere.

We LOVED our stay at this hotel! Some reviews mentioned the rooms being small and that absolutely was not our experience - the room was a great size and then led on to a large bathroom and shower area which was lovely. The nespresso machine and refillable water bottles (still and sparkling) were a great touch too. Parking is available in the underground public parking lot which has a lift right which comes up right in front of the hotel, for only 13 euros a night. Just to note spaces are a little tight (although we have a big car to be fair!). The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, really central and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. The hotel bar is also nice and drinks are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Great hotel in the heart of everything 5 min walk with our suit cases from the station! Close to all the main cafes and shops, very convient and beautiful hotel

The Continental Hotel overlooks a busy pedestrian plaza adjacent to the old town of Reims. It is convenient to the cathedral with numerous dining options and easy parking. It is noisy in the evening. we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The staff was agreeable and spoke English well.
