Pacific Grove Inn

A beautiful historic Victorian which was very cozy & close to many restaurants. We loved our stay.

Great location and classic charm!

Comfortable bed, OK furniture, good location

Mostly - noise from street to which my windows faced. This is not a fault of the owner or staff but passing cars, trucks and pedestrians happily chatting (+their dogs barking) starting at 5 am made my business days harder. The rooms did not offer microwave and fridge. The running water was not drinkable. I ended up driving to a Safeway to get a couple of gallons.

Quiet, nice view of ocean from balcony, great walk to lover's point and dinner at Fandango.

This is my favorite place in Pacific Grove, and I’ve stayed in MANY. Glad it’s open again!

Lovely house with nice amenities and easy parking. Bed was comfy, room clean. Storage for food in the frig downstairs. Black out shades would be nice as it’s very sunny in the am.

I would agree with other reviews. This is not a good option for a stay, even with their lower rate. It is essentially an old renovated victorian type lodging, but as many things, you can paint a turd, it's still a turd. It is incredibly aged, as witnessed in the running water and toilet flushing from the room above us. We also were privy to the occupants conversations both above and beside our room. No fault to these folks, but it just proves there is ZERO insulation between or above rooms. There are NO personnel on site. You can call a number of someone off-site to speak to them about any issues you might have, but NO ONE to speak to in person. If there's a parking issue in their small parking lot, there is NO ONE to take care of it, other than someone on the other end of the phone to say, "yes, we will look into is." There is NO private refer, nor one offered on request. But, they are kind enough to offer a "community" refer for everyone to put their food in and trust others will not eat or tamper with. I can go on, but if you are looking for a cheap, nothing special, not a lot of what they advertise place to stay, book it. Otherwise, I wouldn't. I'll pay a little more and get what I want and is accurate.

Stayed with my two grown kids- king size bed and a fold out couch. Clean with daily service if you want it - microwave & refrigerator are in a common area with free water as well! Parking was always available. Felt safe and it was quiet too. Very centrally located where everything we wanted to see was less than 20 min away. Would definitely stay again
