Bio Suites Hotel & Spa

The hotel is in a really nice area of Rethymno. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only downside was the breakfast, wasn’t what you’d expect at a 4star hotel.

This hotel was excellent! Everything was great: the staff, the food, the pool, the location, the gym, the evening entertainment!

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Netter Empfang. Super aufmerksames und höfliches Personal. Gute Lage in der zweiten Reihe zum Strand. Unsere Unterkunft war immer sauber. Gute Ausstattung der Zimmer.

Great property with a quick walk to Old Town (15 min - 20min). Beach access across the road. Very clean and comfortable

+ The hotel staff was extremely friendly to us, very responsive and caring — especially as we travel with more families with children as a group, it was important to have people who were caring and helping us out. They did great going the extra mile. + Beyond the staff, I would say the hotel is simple and overall pleasant, it has a nice playground for children which is appreciated, a pool, and easy access to the beach.

- The main complaint and a big one is just the amount of night shows in the pool area until 11 PM. For a hotel that positions itself as family-friendly, this is for me inconceivable. Because of the loud music, and the hotel isolation is extremely poor, it meant that for our group faced challenges with terrible nights because the children couldn't fall asleep, then finally at 11 PM we could have a quiet time to get them to sleep, which naturally led to overtiredness, less sleep and cranky mornings. When asked the receptionist about it, they said that we could have the children join the music and then go to sleep after 11 PM; I can't understand a hotel with an international set of guests not accommodating and rather assuming that everyone puts their kids to sleep late at night. - It's good to let know that the hotel had the parties not one night, but everyone's second night, so 50% of our stay were bad nights or hard nights that could have been easily avoidable, if the hotel had had us known about that beforehand or just book families with babies or small toddlers under 4 perhaps to the back of the hotel or suggest another one with better isolation. - All in all, this was very disappointing, and despite the hotel staff being very friendly and the overall facilities pleasant, this was too big of a remark that unfortunately I can't let go.
