Cameron Highlands Resort

Cameron Highlands Resort offers a charming and elegant stay in the heart of the Highlands. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with classic colonial-style decor that adds to its appeal. While traffic noise can be noticeable at times due to its location along the main road, the overall experience remains pleasant. The staff were consistently warm, polite, and helpful throughout our stay, which really enhanced our visit.

A great hotel in beautiful surroundings. Rooms were very clean and staff were very friendly. The hotel took you down to a time of colonial days. Would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic colonial era building is the setting for a mediocre hotel. Unfortunately the setting deserves a better standard of food and service that you get here. The standard room was good if not a little noisy being at the front of the hotel. Disappointed not to get any real recognition of my Diamond status, the first time in over 5 weeks of travelling through Asia. There is also no Exec lounge or anything to compensate for this. No pool either. Food quality was pretty hit and miss at both evening meal and breakfast, indeed we gave up waiting for one item offered by the waiter at breakfast after 20 plus minutes and that was only a yoghurt! Wouldn’t rush back unless the management move the standards upwards in line with the setting.

First impressions were very good. An old Colonial hotel with bags of character. The room when entering looked lovely. However, we overlooked the golf course and there was a road in between. The windows didn’t have double glazing and the noise at night was deafening. Inadequate curtains meant the room was lit up making it difficult to get to sleep. The restaurant and food was good and the staff helpful. On a lighter note the manager asked my wife if she wanted the toilet before we left which we found amusing. Quite a way out of the small town.

We only stay for one night, have a lot of things wanting to do, didn't have much time stay in hotel to enjoy the hotel amenity, the hotel itself & grounds are look beautiful!

Despite hotel providing ear plugs, could still hear noise coming from the main road. Bed quilt was smelly and waited about 1/2 hour to replace. Rain shower was good but can see soap scum on glass and surrounding. Brekkie was good but considering paying top price for the 2 rooms, there are better options elsewhere.

Excellent hotel for its location only sad issue is how busy the road is on front of the hotel,. Not the hotels fault but a reflection of the developments in the Highlands since the hotel was built and can imoact on some rooms staff friendly and effient good standard of food but shame not a wider selection of fruit at breakfast

Very nice historic hotel in the hills so a welcome respite from heat and humidity in KL. Staff are friendly and helpful although there were some miscommunications! There is a busy road in front of the hotel but our lower floor room was fairly well soundproofed. Rooms are lovely and spacious with private balcony and the lounge and library are very comfortable
