Love this hotel so much , definitely coming back again.

This place is a travellers dream, i highly recommend staying here if you are visiting cameron highlands. Its expensive but worth it!

The hotel location in front of the golf club is excellent. The hotel is elegant and grand, and value for money. The staffs are very professional and friendly. The F&B is just okay. The breakfast was very mediocre; the hotpot at the Gonbei Restaurant was excellent ; the afternoon tea was okay and the dining room dinner was just average. Only the ice plant salad was exceptionally good. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The room with the balcony was very specious and bright. TV was not working some of the time, with only a few channels.

We stayed at this charming hotel for 2 nights during our visit in the Cameron Highlands and we totally enjoyed our stay. The room is spacious, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good with different menus. We also stayed here for dinner once and we were welcomed by the friendly staff and excellent cuisine The afternoon tea in the main lobby/bar is an event that cannot be missed and is absolutely relaxing. As already mentioned in several review the hotel can be a bit noisy, but nothing really terrible

I had a fantastic stay at Cameron Highlands Resort and what truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding service from Husain. He looked after us during both dinner and breakfast, always with a warm smile and a personal touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. His attention to detail and thoughtful approach were truly impressive, Husain is easily one of the best hotel staff members I’ve ever come across.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for three nights. It was heavenly. The old colonial style furnishings and the attention to detail of every one who worked there was exceptional. Our room was cleaned to the highest standard and Hussein made us feel at home. The food in the dining room was of a high quality and the steamboat is not to be missed.

Truly Caring Staff and a Memorable Stay We stayed at Cameron Highlands Resort for 3 nights starting 11 April, booking 6 rooms for our family. The staff, especially Kimie and Kee, were incredibly patient and helpful in accommodating our requests—twin beds, room preferences, and even upgrading us to a suite so my sister with mobility issues could stay close to us. On our second day, my elder brother, who has Parkinson’s, suddenly lost consciousness due to the highland altitude. It was a terrifying moment. Kee responded swiftly and arranged an ambulance within 15 minutes, while Kimie offered to drive me to the hospital. Thankfully, after medical attention, my brother recovered well. Kimie stayed with us the entire time—his kindness and support truly touched us. The resort itself is beautiful, with a charming British colonial design and a calm, welcoming vibe. All the staff were warm and friendly, making us feel completely at home. We’re so grateful and will definitely return. This is not just a lovely resort—it’s a place with genuinely caring people. Thank you!

I spent one night at this hotel on my 2 week trip through Malaysia. This is a nice heritage style hotel. My room was big, bright and clean, nicely furnished. The bathroom was on the small side and water pressure at the sink almost non existing. There was water provided, a safe, iron and board and a hairdryer. The hairdryer only worked with a plug in the bedroom. It can get a bit noisy due to traffic, so the hotel provides earplugs. I don’t mind a bit of background noise though, so for me it was fine. Also there are no blinds on one of the windows so this might be a problem for people who need complete dark to sleep. I do not, so I did not mind. Breakfast was tasty, a-la carte, where I was also served fruit and an assortment of pastries. Service was very good. It is a very nice place to stay.

The level of service here is exceptional, as in all YTL hotels, and the overall atmosphere is wonderful. But the fact that earplugs are supplied in the bedrooms is significant: the noise of the road - almost continuous, day and night - spoils what otherwise would be a great hotel. Most, if not all, rooms face the road and there is no noise insulation. Another potential disappointment is that there is very limited space where visitors can sit outside, other than the balconies of the bedrooms. Notwithstanding these criticisms, this is a beautiful hotel with great staff and a luxurious location from which to explore the area.
