Hotel Cromwell Stevenage

The room was nice and as described and the bathroom was very lovely.

They upped the price to 185 as they knew it was a festival day, which I guess is normal but for the size of the room it wasn't reasonable. It was also extremely hot with no air con and just a very old and slow fan which made no difference, hence I did not get much sleep.

The atmosphere.

The faucet. In understand the retro style, but I would replace the double tap for a combined one.

Great customer service - when we arrived, our room had a broken window and the manager immediately moved our room without any question and even upgraded us to a suite, which I did appreciate. The hotel also looks like the pictures.

I didnt like the fact the initial room had a broken window. Also the bed was on the small side. There is also a bit of noise from the high st bars at night, but not too bad.

The Initial room we were offered was not to our liking so the Housekeeping Manager showed a quieter large ground floor room as he was working that way in a quieter area of the hotel which was perfect which also had a separate rear access to the carpark. Bed was comfortable, we stayed for brunch in the morning which was spot on as was the staff.

It's like a maze finding your room, which is a pain when you've got luggage! Hallways/rooms also very warm.

A very comfortable well appointed room with a bath. Are very busy bar area which the locals use
