Ixchel Beach Hotel

About the 4th visit of staying at this hotel. I highly recommend for anyone, and everyone. Be sure to check out the Kalak Bar during your stay. Hugo, Chapo, and Monse are the best. 🥰

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Ceasar at the beach deserves 10 stars! Ixchel is perfectly located on playa Norte.

Beautiful location, close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff is very nice.

Outstanding service and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. The hotel is spotless and well manicured. The pool is clean and the beach immaculate. The food at the restaurant is great and they have beach service if you want to stay in your lounger for breakfast or lunch. We always reserve a suite with a patio or balcony and the rooms are always spotless with comfortable beds. This hotel is within walking distance to a ton of restaurants and bars, as well as a grocery store to stock up on drinks and snacks. A big shoutout to our beach server, Allen, as he served us daily on the beach with the biggest smile. He was so sweet with our grandkids and went out of his way to make our beach or pool days the best. Also, a shoutout to Chepo! Although we didn’t end up in his section this time, he went out of his way to come and talk to us and catch up. We have been to Ixchel 9 times and Chepo has always gone out of his way to make us feel at home.

The Ixchel Beach Hotel is not only on the best beach in Isla Mujeres but it is in the best part of that best beach. The water for swimming is the best! And the turquoise colour is not just photoshop. It is the real deal. The hotel looks like any other pleasant resort hotel. It will not wow you with the "glam" factor. What will wow you though is the quality of the people who work there; the feeling of comfort, belonging, care and warmth that they create. It is extremely well managed. We had a standard room which worked well with out budget. The beds were extremely comfortable. I will admit that I like their bed better than my own. Although next time (and there will be a next time) we will opt for the 1 or 2 bedroom suite. More expensive but having a balcony and the ability to make your own breakfast would be worth it. I have mentioned the quality of the staff so let me give a shout out to all those who made our week memorable. Thank you to Mauricio, Guillermo, Daniel, Adriana, Karen, Hugo and Julieta in the restaurant and last but not least, Luis Miguel, whose bright eyes and friendly smile always made our day. The only negative experience at this hotel was the loud party music which blasts all day long from the party boasts anchored off shore and at the palapa at the adjacent hotel. None of which is in the purview of the Ixchel Beach Hotel management. It is ubiquitous everywhere on the beach and in Downtown Isla Mujeres. But perhaps it is just me who is getting old and curmudgeonly.

部屋はセンスが良く広くて清潔。写真のイメージと同じ。 1階のガーデンビューだったが、ビーチまで近く便利だった。 一日中ビーチで過ごしたかったので、朝早めにチェアを確保。海は青く美しくて素晴らしかった。ゴルフカートレンタルがホテルのすぐ横にあったので利用した。とても素晴らしい滞在だった。

ホテル到着後、トイレにペーパーを流してしまったので、流れずらい水流が不安になり、フロントに頼んで対応してもらったら、何故が固形のソープが詰まっていて、出てきた。

Excelente ubicación, la piscina limpia y tibia, la atención buenísima, la atención en la playa también, la limpieza. Lo cómoda de las camas, el espacio de la habitación, te dejan agua para tomar en tu habitación incluida, hay nevera y para hacer café.

El cabezal de la ducha lanzaba agua a todos lados menos al que se baña y mojaba el resto del baño (hab 409)

We had a wonderful time the rooms, nice and clean. The service is so friendly and lovely especially Hugo in the kalak restaurant down front it was such fun! We had met him at another resort that we used to stay at and it was so fun to run into him and recognize him here. He is such a good time so friendly and certainly made our breakfast fun and memorable! Check him out and be sure to say Mike and Kelly says hi!
