"Earl's Regency - NIce place, could do better."

Nice place. Very ornate. Rooms were good. Meals were all buffet and extensive i8nckluding Sri Lankan and Western. The hotel reception staff were unfriendly - obsequious to celebrities and abrupt to others. Shops very friendly, restaurant servers were helpful.

Lovely setting but needs to update , No pool drinks service without them going to main bar, No sun umbrellas around pool so no Shade.

"Just ok"

The view from my room was of an old tree right in front of me Has to walk half km to get to rooms Food was expensive Mould on the tiles in bathroom Should not be classed as a 5* So many other lovely places closer to town than this hotel

"Lovely hotel"

Really lovely hotel a couple of kilometres outside Kandy. The buffet breakfast was okay (not the best ever but enough options). The pool is great with good views of the hills. The staff are very helpful. On the first day our TV didn't work so we were upgraded to a room with a pool view. Would definitely stay here again if we went back.
