Mould in the rooms and bathrooms No heated pool which means there really wasn’t anything to do this time of year.

Breakfast was great for a buffet

the wheather was not great but we still had a lovely time.

The beautiful location, the privacy, activities in the afternoon ( more would be fun), which made it easy to make "friends" and have a laugh in the comfortable and attractive main reception/bar area. We braced the casual dress vibe, no need to dress up and put on make up and flip flops were acceptable footwear. The swim up bars, cocktails and music was relaxing and fun. The grounds were immaculate and the sea life was endearing to see each day. The living reef and the obvious love and care shown to conservation by the marine staff was wonderful to see. We loved the bars and restaurants, in particular the bar upstairs and the Asian inspired Infinity restaurant.The daily breakfast was great, just wished there had been a coffee machine. Daily housekeeping was amazing with so many of the friendly staff. Easy island hopping for day trips with Sailing Whitsundays. 10 points for a wonderful island welcome and an early check in with zero difficulty. We loved our holiday!

Very basic facilities in the room. No bottles of water in the bar fridge, no coffee machine, small choice of tea options, limited cups/mugs, plates and eating utensils to relax with a drink and snack in your room. The split system was very loud and we had to turn it off to sleep which left us warm. But we still enjoyed every minute of paradise in

We came to Daydream Island for a mini honeymoon, the food was absolutely to die for, we didn’t have a bad meal, we didn’t have the best weather so we didn’t get to do much exploring, we did do the living reef snorkel with Sampson and he was great and very informative.

My only complaint would be one of the bar staff at Tonic, she wasn’t friendly what so ever, maybe she should be placed in the kitchen if she doesn’t want to be at the front of house. A recommendation not a complaint; would be to have a microwave in the living reef rooms as it would have been nice to take our food to our room, and not waste so much.

The place overall seemed run down, broken tiles, walls that needed re painting pavements that looked like they had not been cleaned for years!
