Waterside Hotel & Leisure Club

Waterside hotel was a perfect option for an overnight stay while setting my daughter up at university. The vast car park was ideal with staff welcoming and polite. Our room was spotless and comfy after a busy day! And breakfast was delicious the following day. Lots of choice, ample amounts and the best way to start the day. Only negative was the fire exit lighting - it was too bright and kept me awake - a bit of tissue saved the day!

Superb experience from start to finish. The room was on the small side but the breakfast and use of the amazing facilities more than made up for this. Staff were well presented and friendly on arrival and very helpful throughout the stay. I don’t normally do reviews but this place warrants a shout out for completely surpassing all of my expectations. I hope I have a reason to return to Manchester so that I can go back!

A very relaxed stay here. There is a good bar with good food selection and attached pool and gym (which I din't actually use this time). Clean and comfortable and excellent value.

Lovely big accessible room because I chose king-size. Generous with amenities, lovely staff, great lounge area.

Very average hotel for the money paid. The Wifi kept dropping out, despite the fact that I was in a room very near to the reception. The hotel didn't do much to rectify this issue. The rooms need a good refresh/upgrade. A fridge in the room would have been a nice touch. The room had no blinds, and the curtains wouldn't close all the way, which left a gap in the middle.

All the staff are wonderfully helpful and kind. This is especially appreciated as my friend and i are in our 80s and we do someone need assistance. The roast duck we ordered was excellent too!

I wouldn’t stay here again, if for no other reason than the parking and physical access to the building. Having mobility issues, I need, if possible, a blue badge parking space, and for a property that size, the number of spots is woefully insufficient. It really should be named leisure centre (gym) and hotel, as the majority of the people there are using those facilities, and parking spaces. The room was so tiny that we were unable to bring in anything larger than one small carry on bag each, and also so small that we had to put one case on the table, and move the mini sized chair to a corner to put the other case on. Otherwise, we would have been unable to walk from the further bed to the bathroom. On the plus side, the Sunday beef roast was amazing.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. My room,although a little compact,was clean and quiet.

Strange place - more like a fitness gym than a hotel

A nice hotel, the room was immaculate. Lovely hot water, the pool was well maintained. Staff were pleasant. There were lots of food places a 5 minute walk away, along with cinema and activities for children. I could not fault my stay.
