Vagabond Lodge at Kicking Horse Resort

The lodge is in an isolated area developed mostly for skiing and hiking. We made it in mid September just before closing for the summer season. The owners who live on the site were most helpful and friendly in assisting our travel plans to the Icefields Parkway located about 100 km away and then off to Banff and Lake Louise.

Nice place. Only downside is no tv or fridge in the room, must use the common ones.

This is a gorgeous lodge run by friendly and helpful people. It was a delightful place for rest and relaxation in a beautiful mountain setting. Would totally recommend it! We would love to return someday.

Nous sommes allés en haut du mont kicking horse. Très beaux sentiers de randonnée. Bon restaurant en haut de la montagne. Les hôtes de l'hôtel Vagabond Lodge sont très accueillants. Endroit recommandé.

Excellent lodge in every way. Extremely comfortable, delicious breakfast and exceptionally friendly, helpful service from Lori and Ken. Would definitely recommend.

Très bel endroit situé à quelques pas des pistes (ski in, ski out). Très propre également. Ken et Lori sont des hôtes extraordinaires!!! Les repas inclus sont de bonne qualité. Nous allons certainement y retourner! Nous le recommandons à tous!!! A++++++++++++++

Stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We stayed in room 6 which had two small double beds and was a split level room. Ken and Laurie are the hosts and they made the stay extra special. They were always willing to go the extra mile. The hot tub outside was always a welcome relief after a long day on the slopes. The breakfast and lunch supplied were also top quality.

We stayed at Vagabond Lodge because the price was quite affordable for our September trip to kicking horse. We were welcomed to the lodge and shown around and was stunned by the beautiful atmosphere and the friendliest owner Ken. Must stay if you're in the area!
