Embassy Suites by Hilton Cincinnati Northeast - Blue Ash

I liked the king room with the separate living room.

There is no place to hang your clothes.

This was our second time staying here-the first was about 7 years ago. Such a disappointment from that time to now. When we tried to get into our room after doing an online check-in, the key app did not work. Previously, in other Hilton hotels, when that wasn't set up within that specific hotel, the app wouldn't allow us to access it. Instead, thinking we were able to use it when we arrived, we found out that it wouldn't work. We then had to go from the top level to the bottom and wait in the line. Not a huge issue, but frustrating none-the less. Our room was missing many of the typical amenities (regular coffee, conditioner, tea bags that weren't old and crumpled), the reception was significantly lacking in snacks. Chips and a couple of veggies are not what we are used to with Embassy Suites, although I do understand that I shouldn't complain over a "free" nicety. The breakfast was also the saddest breakfast that I have experienced with an Embassy Suite. The worst issue was that we were woken up around 7:30 AM to construction being done VERY LOUDLY in the room below us. One of the reasons that we specifically chose this hotel was because of the noon check out time. Even with a white noise going on, it was so loud that we could not sleep in. There was no notice of construction happening when we booked the hotel. This certainly has affected our perception of the hotel and our desire to ever return. The only reason I gave it one star instead of two is because of the personable employees. Almost every employee we encountered was positive and engaging.

We stayed on the fifth floor, which was the recently remodeled floor. Wish there was another mirror besides in the bathroom. It’s not very practical only having one mirror. Also, I think that the room was remodeled, but the mattress and pillows needed to be updated as well. Our mattress sank down in the middle. The bedding for the pullout couch needed to be updated as well. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We did not voice our concerns to them.

Room was clean but a little outdated, hotel seemed to be under on going construction that wasnt mentioned, overall good stay and a plsce to lay our head at night

There was no shower curtain. Faucet was on the floor. Sticky stuff splattered all over the wall.

Dingy & old. Didn’t have a shower curtain. Old candy wrapper under bed
