Latchis Hotel

I’d rate 10 ⭐️ if I could! I don't recall a more pleasurable hotel stay. You've thought of everything in a very cool 😎 and inviting environment. The place is clean and the rooms retro cozy. Staff are welcoming, outgoing and helpful. I've stayed in so-called high end properties that aren’t nearly so well managed and genuine in their hospitality.

Loved the retro feel of the hotel - really kept the historic look, but with modern touches. Enjoyed the record player in the room. Front desk was super nice and helpful. Lots of places to walk to near the hotel.

Brattleboro is a beautiful town, my partner and I have visited quite often. I always wanted to stay at the Latchis because of its history and location. We decided to book a mountain side room, so we could wake up to a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When we got to our room we realized everything was incredibly outdated and not maintained. I understand the historical part, that is not what I’m talking about. There’s a lot of charm in having to use real keys, and having antique furniture. But water damage on the ceilings, gross stains on the mattress, and windows that literally hadn’t been cleaned in years, is disgusting!! Very disappointed as we had a great time in Brattleboro, but will not be staying at the latchis again!

hallways were littered. property is not in good repair. Feels very institutional like a housing project, but the prices are high. there is no way to make tea or coffee in the room, and the area for this in the lobby is not well maintained, was out of water when I was there.

I had a wonderful stay at the Latchis Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was fabulous, and everyone made sure my stay was the best it could be. I will definitely be coming back next year. Alex

It's old. Historic. But it's clean. And has a fridge in the room and coffee/tea in the lobby. And the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is old. It is clean, but very dated and worn. I like what they are trying to do, but the probably don’t have the money to really spruce it up. The bathroom was spotless and has new tub tile work. I liked the antique light and medicine cabinet. There are no outlets in the bathroom and only a few in the room. The record player and albums are a cute idea. The th is small with all basic channels, no streaming here. The staff was very nice. Overall a fine stay for one night.

Despite the very helpful employees, this hotel (specifically room 108) is uninhabitable. The rate of more than $275 a night creates a gaslighting that what we are paying for is acceptable. The pictures will tell it all. No one should stay there.

Wonderful stay. Staff, environment and historical setting. Highly recommended. In center of Brattleboro with walking distance to many fine restaruants.
