Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa Kauai by OUTRIGGER

Of all the places we stayed during our trip to Hawaii, this is the only one I wouldn't go back to. This isn't your typical hotel experience as it's really a timeshare facility. Apparently you need to check in before 7pm...something that was later found buried in the information about the place. We arrived at 10pm and had to call a number and get codes to enter the rooms. Would have been helpful to have that info more prevalent. The rooms are spacious and it was lovely to have the in-unit washer/dryer. Some of the units are more updated than others and in our case, the pull-out sofa bed our daughters slept on had definitely seen better days. Pool is nice and had two waterslides which the kids enjoyed. Hot tub has a sand/gravel floor. Centrally located on the island btw the northern and southern coasts. Grocery store and other conveniences across the street.

We liked that it is central to the north and south shores. Very nice condo aside from the matress.

Nice, spacious condo, a quiet getaway. Good location next to the beach and across the road from a shopping center. Although laundry detergents were listed as an amenity, I later found out you have to purchase them from the front desk. There aren't elevators on every building so if you're unable to climb stairs well, some areas might be a little inconvenient.

Amazing

Room was very nice, clean and spacious! Everything I needed to cook a meal was at my fingertips. Kitchen was well organized and stocked with trash bags, paper towels and coffee! We got in late so we really appreciated having coffee in the morning. Our kids loved the pool and we loved that no one bothered us. We brought drinks and food to the pool and just relaxed and enjoyed the kids swimming. We were centrally located and had ease of access to everything and everywhere we wanted! I definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!

Love the property, the pool, the central location on the island.

The location is good, but if you chose this studio it's completely dated and needs to be remodeled. In addition the air conditioner is a big unit in the middle of this studio so if you're a light sleeper it will wake you up every time it turns on as it does make noise. In addition it does need to be services as it doesn't get the room cold enough.
