The dining was very good

We thought the hotel was tired in places. Our bathroom sink was cracked in a few places.

"Close to Peebles"

Ample parking. The front desk staff were kind and the elevator was helpful. The restaurant was good, and the breakfast options were decent. The heated lounge chairs in the pool were nice.

The distance to the room was a long walk. We were excited to stay at a castle, but it didn't feel much different than staying in a hotel.

"Different , needs a bit of tlc but curiously delightful"

location, lovely staff, clean rooms .

sadly repairs needed on window frames needs a bit if tlc squeaky floorboards , shower taps need clearer indication of hot and cold . lift a bit tired with musty carpet
