Staff and location were great and big bedroom

The room was awful ,bed was hard. The shower was terrible. The toilet was slow then blocked and not fixed. Pipes knocking in middle of night. Locked out of room for an hour until manager arrived. Iron but no ironing board. Buzzing noise coming from somewhere during night. Decor needs attention. Bathroom tiny compared to room size.

Good location for the town a few minutes walk nice view looking over the river

Far too hot sweltering at breakfast no air con or fan in there

Needs updating. Carpet in room was ripped.

Good location, in town, by river, short walk from shops, etc. Friendly welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room

Our room was still being cleaned when we arrived although we were told at reception it was ready. It was a very hot day and we left our bags, including an almost full bottle of lemonade in the room while we went for a walk. When we returned the bottle of lemonade had gone. I queried this with the young man on reception who said the girl had probably "binned it" thinking it belonged to the previous tenants of the room. I was quite annoyed as it was a VERY hot day and had to walk to the supermarket to buy another.

Could not open windows due to dirty/cobwebs on inside frames when open, noise for empty glass bottles being thrown in skip,very noisy in corridor from bedroom doors being slammed,stain on side of divan base going on to the carpet, huge stain on curtain, was meant to be in a lower ground room,as was travelling with expensive racing cycle,but that was not the case when we arrived, was put up 2 floors more.

Lovely , friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay . Pool was a nice way to cool down after a busy day shopping in the town . Absolutely amazing to be able to sit on the terraced and enjoy the view and relax with a drink . Booked our evening meal in the bar area. Our waitress was so nice, friendly and professional and we absolutely loved our meal and experience .

Needs a little updating , especially in our room 103 , paint work in bedroom and at the entrance to the room and bathroom needs re grouting .
