Great location, parking easy and accessible and lovely friendly staff. The breakfast was also good for the price and room service was excellent.

The hotel has a clothes moth infestation. The first room we were given had patches of carpet missing and moths everywhere. We were moved to a lower floor where the carpets were better in tact but the clothes moth infestation was still apparent and they were still present in the second room. The infestation is clear throughout the entire hotel, in reception, corridors, at breakfast etc. As someone who has lived in a listed building where infestations were common and lost a lot of clothes/bedding/carpets to these creatures previously, we were uncomfortable for the whole weekend worrying about carrying them home with us which unfortunately spoiled the experience for us. It’s a lovely hotel in a great spot with lovely staff, but unfortunately it wasn’t for us given the moth problem.

Excellent location only a few minutes away from the town centre. Parking available to customers. Nice staff.

Cleanliness could be improved as well as breakfast. The room needed some attention as it looked past its best.
