Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort

We came away for a relaxing 11 day break. On arrival we were greeted with lovely staff booking us in and personally showing us to our room. Our room was lovely. After leaving our bags in our room we went to the bar where the staff were welcoming. Our stay throughout has been made more enjoyable by members of staff that went above expectations, giving time to get to know us, giving us recommendations and was a delight each day to see them, hearing them come together as a team, hearing them laughing and enjoying their work, which speaks volumes. All staff are amazing here but we did have our favourites! Our favourite waitress Palmy was amazing at both breakfast and at the pool diner, always smiling and happy to help. She is a credit to your organisation. As were Luke in the members bar, Lim in housekeeping, Sky and Sem in the pool bar

We arrived early so went for a walk prior to check in. The hotel has a huge footprint the gardens are well maintained and the hotel was spotlessly clean. All staff were very polite and friendly. When we got to the room we found it very clean and presented well. The room was large with a decent balcony overlooking the golf course. It was lovely and quiet. Some reviews talk about it being a bit dated. There is a lot of wood with dark floors which was probably great in its time but it has character and is well maintained. We found the atmosphere quiet and great for relaxing. The breakfasts are amazing. One of the best we have found in Thailand. A full variety for everyone even a donut wall, although not my thing for breakfast. The pool is huge, I believe the largest in the country. We used the adult only end. Never any issues getting beds at any time of the day. The rest of the pool felt quiet due to the size. We eat locally and there was a good choice for lunch and dinner all good food. As expected the hotel is about twice the price for food and drinks but what we saw including at the pool bar looked very good. We spent our stay relaxing and exploring locally on foot. There is a shortage of local shops if that’s what you are looking for. I can highly recommend this place if you are looking for relaxation, peace and quiet. Finally I need to mention the customer experience ambassador’Thalia’ a truly remarkable lady who is a credit to the hotel. Thank you for the recipes.

We had a several night stay here as part of our package holiday through Secret Escapes. Faultless experience. Walking around the grounds is a delight in itself. Food-wise the breakfast selection at the Maya restaurant in particular, is superb and clearly a humungous effort each day. The staff are the highlight of the hotel for us. In particular, Ta Ta, our guide for our excursion to the rock springs, emerald pool and tiger temple is brilliant. She went out of her way to take photos for us (with excellent editing skills too!) and was a pleasure to be with. We also had a lovely experience on our final evening at The White Lotus restaurant. Staff members Sao and Jah (apologies if the names are incorrect) were fantastic, took photos for us and took extra good care of us, noting it was our last night at the hotel. There are more staff whose names I’m afraid I forget, including the pool’s bartender who was fab. They are a credit to your organisation. 100% would recommend to anyone venturing to Krabbi.

Lovely stay at the Sofitel Krabi. Many of the staff are amazing, Notably Luke the new Intern from Newcastle doing a great job for a newbie. Pee another trainee giving great service at Breakfast and the pool diner. Sky for his amazing cocktails and always has the team laughing. Sem for being a great host at the pool bar and Bright who welcomed us on arrival after a long flight. Finally to Focus helped us so much on the first night with ideas and suggestions for the week ahead. Some good choices in the resort with the lunchtime diner offering the best options. Was hoping for a little more local dishes in the Thai but the Italian did a mean pizza and Porchetta. Rooms were spacious very clean and great service from our brilliant housekeeper Lim who left us a lovely note and flowers each night. I would recommend getting a room with Club Milesime usage as it’s a great team in there and happy hour is a nice relief after a hot day round the pool! It’s in a quiet spot with a few local residents in walking distance and I would certainly recommend the Grab app as the likes of Ao Nang is only 20 mins away if you fancy something a bit livelier with the night market and music bars like the Full Moon Bar The GM seemed to be everywhere keeping everyone happy and a credit to his organisation and has built was appears to be a happy, efficient and customer focussed team.

Fantastic hotel. Room is gorgeous and very generous in size. Had an amazing treatment at the day spa and had Bah who was great at getting my knots out. Kids club just opened up and my 2 love it! Staff very friendly and pool is amazing!

The best ever team in Thailand- Sem, Sky, Na, Palmy & Boy!!! Thank you for a wonderful time!!! We loved this resort and all staff were amazing especially the pool staff and bartenders. Everyone was amazing! Grounds are amazing!

The place is clean and nice. Staff Saijai from Sofitel spa was nice and professional, she will checkout on my comfort level and pressure intensity to make sure my comfort met. Overall the massage is good and on point, it was a great experience.

Fantastic resort away from the crowded tourist areas. Staying there felt very relaxing. The service was outstanding. I want to especially mention the ladies and the Brit of the executive lounge. Food and drinks at the resort were always delicious. Special mention to Dao, who made me the best fried rice I have ever eaten. The resort offers a range of activities from bike trips to a very beautiful spa and of course island excursions. The expedition to Hong island was an amazing experience.

This is the place to stay Krabi. It has everything you need plus more. Christian Ramirez and his staff were absolutely fantastic. Definitely coming back here again for the pool, golf course and the staff most of all.

This is a great place to stay. From the moment we met Bright at reception to the wonderful service. Thalia, Jinny and Bella were just a few of the wonderful people we met. Leaving the resort was like leaving family.
